Love to travel? Need some specialty items you can roll up in a ball and still have look good? Those of you who hit the road on a regular basis are probably already aware of Travel Smith, the adventure and travel clothing company.  Did you also know there were daily savings opportunities on their web site? Read on for details.

While they are not always the least expensive option, they have decent clothing that stands up to travel abuse quite handily.  And I’ve noticed that TravelSmith.Com fans tend to be quite loyal. So I’m confident those of you who already shop there will be super psyched with this next bit of news. They have a sale of the day!

That’s right. Every day, two different items are marked down on TravelSmith.Com’s special sale of the day page. Tomorrow, they’ll be replaced with two new online savings opportunities.  So if you love a bargain, this little nugget of saving info just might be the ticket. Happy savings, everybody!

Thanks Myscha! I was looking for some wrinkle-free clothing I could bring along to a work conference next month.

Thats a nice site. Let me make an account and look out. Unfortunately on Sale of the day it is Women's 3 piece and Women's drawstring pants.....let me see my future luck.

thanks for the great site,

Thanks for the heads up. I've never purchased anything from Travel Smith, though I see their ads in the New Yorker all the time, which may not be a good thing for the frugal shopper. But now that I'm armed with this information, there's no telling what the future holds.

Hi Fred. It's true they're not necessarily the cheapest option out there. But certainly comparable with others on the circuit. I think they are worth it though, if you only want to pack a very few things, and save their products for when you are on the road in need of some higher performing items that will stand up. From my own perspective, there were a few things I took on our world trip that I wished I hadn't cheaped out on. When you are changing climates all the time, and in need of some rapid dry items that you can wash out in the hostel sink, the nylon shorts that you do nothing but sweat in don't seem like such a great idea after all. At least that was my experience. That being said, I picked plenty of other super frugal items that worked out fine.  Travel Smith is a super resource for items you can't find anywhere else, though.
