Stylish Coupon Organizers Giveaway

ShareThis

Two super cool companies approached us recently about introducing Wise Bread readers to their stylish coupons organizers. We know how our readers love to save money and look cool doing it, so we asked them to send us a few to give away.

Jenny McChesney, proprietor of PaperPosey.com, began selling greeting cards, scrapbooks, and stationery online in 2004. Paper Posey offers a selection of creative and fun-to-use journals, photo keepers, and organizers. She sent over two coupon organizers and they're super neat. Keep track of receipts, coupons and tickets in style. Check out her selection.

The accordion organizers combine a notepad and a 6 pocket expandable file folder in a hardcover booklet with a memorable quote on the spine. It also includes an elastic closure and pen holder. They measure 1 x 4 x 6-1/2" and holds 3 x 5 cards, the perfect size for the purse or car console!

Austin Artisan sells her handmade items on Etsy. She's a mom of two small children living in Austin, Texas, with a passion for creating art. She loves making things that are not only fun and creative, but also functional. She recently got interviewed by All You magazine and will be featured in an upcoming issue! Take a look at some of her creations.

Here's a peak on the inside. Her organizers have an elastic closure, 12 expandable dividers and also measures 4 x 6 1/12".

Now look at the ADORABLE organizer she made just for this Wise Bread giveaway!  It's an exclusive Wise Bread coupon organizer!  How COOL is that?!

So we have a total of  three fabulous coupon organizers to give away to Wise Bread readers.  To enter the drawing, leave a comment about how you currently store and organize your coupons. Drawing ends on May 28. Only open to U.S. residents aged 18 and over, void where prohibited. Only one entry per person will be counted.

This drawing is now closed. The winners will be contacted shortly.

My current coupon situation is a mess. I have a clip on my refrigerator were I hang all of my store and clipped coupons, which does not work well when I have to stop into a store quickly on my way home!

Guest's picture

I currently keep them in a small plastic baggy. Sure could use something solid.

Guest's picture
Molly

I use the "return postage paid" envelopes I get all the time to store coupons. I have them organized by month, not by grocery category, but I'm considering changing that. I'm still fairly new to couponing!

Guest's picture
mlindab

I keep mine in a paper clip! Envelopes would be a giant step up. I'm just beginning!

Myscha Theriault's picture

Again, I can't enter but they all look fantastic! How cute is the Wise Bread one?????

Guest's picture
chriss

Currently, they are stored somewhat-in-order, by being jammed into a segment in my wallet. Functional, but slow and definitely not very stylish.

Guest's picture
Amanda Newton

I use a holder that my mom used for years. It is on its last leg but I just haven't been able to bring myself to spend money on a new one. I mean, it works, but won't close anymore.

Guest's picture

I have my coupons organized somewhat in a generic green file folder :) Not efficient whatsoever!

Guest's picture
mel

I just use a report clip to hold them all together. No real organization to them though.

Guest's picture
Amy

These are really cool looking holders! I currently use a Priceplanner coupon holder, it is awesome. Bought it online years ago, it's got tons of pockets and is super organized so I can use it everywhere. Love the wisebread version!

Guest's picture

Actually I've been struggling to find a reasonable way to store coupons. I've tried files, wallets, totes, etc. These seem really functional and usuable. Maybe I won't forget the coupons with something like this!

Guest's picture

Currently, I have all of my coupons in a sleeve at the back of my paper planner. It would be awesome to get them a little more organized!

Guest's picture
Kris

I just have all my coupons paper clipped together. I usually put the ones I know I will use on top; then I usually stand in an aisle near the registers and look through one more time to make sure I didn't miss one.

Guest's picture
Amanda

Our coupons are clipped and laying on an orange Fiestaware platter. We have to move them whenever we have a roast, and we have to pick through them every time we go shopping. I just try to keep the diaper coupons on top.

Guest's picture
Monica Berger

I put my coupons into an envelope. It does not work too well but isn't bulky!

Guest's picture
peg

I lack coupon organization skills- hence the one size fits all Binderblip- but I love collecting them!

Guest's picture
mari

The honest answer is I don't. I buy most of my groceries online (FreshDirect b/c I live in Manhattan) - for beauty products that I use, I'll clip those coupons from the newspaper, but usually they just get stuffed in my purse or wallet - eventually to be ripped to shreds and make it into the circular filing cabinet.

I'd love one of these organizers - and I think they'd make great gifts too. Definitely going to buy them - wish I'd seen them sooner/for Mother's Day - but then there's always Christmas! Thanks.

Guest's picture
JunO

I keep them in an envelope that I (try) to carry with me all the time. I sort them by expiration date and paperclip the the same months together.

Guest's picture
Carol

My coupon organizer is this red monstrosity I have had for years. All the tabs on the cardboard separating each grocery type is worn away. I soooooo want to win this!

Guest's picture
mongolian

All my coupons are placed in the bag (no order). I keep the plastic bag in my purse. I tend to forget which coupons I have in there. Every month or so, I go through the stack and throw away all the expired ones.

Guest's picture
Marlana

I have an old, plastic, divided wallet for my coupons. These are so much cuter!

Guest's picture
kimberly

I have them stuffed in my wallet, some in my car dashboard, and some in my "extra stuff" tote. Terrible.

Guest's picture
Margie

I use two small 5x7 photo albums - one for groceries and one for other stuff.

Guest's picture
Kate

I generally just use an envelope system to store my coupons. I have a couple envelopes, each with a different category of coupon, and then I just store the envelopes in my purse. Not great, but it gets the job done.

I would love to win one of these!

Guest's picture
Sarah

I keep my coupons in a little gift box I'm reusing. It's really cute and has stars on it! Unfortunately, it has no dividers, so I have paper clipped groups of coupons by expiration date. It works decently well, but I'm sure there are better solutions out there. These look super cute!

Guest's picture
Wren

Oof, my situation is sadsadsad. My coupons are jammed into my kitbag, which, while tending to go everywhere with me, is jammed with every piece of anything I might need on the go. In addition to random coupons, it holds everything from hand cream and a sewing kit to a toothbrush and napkins. I feel like a little old lady rooting around in it.

Guest's picture
Amy

I have one of the accordion type coupon organizers with the tabs that let you insert categories. I really don't like the categories I made up though. I normally leave that at home and then grab the ones I think I'd need on a shopping trip. Not ideal, really.

Guest's picture
Deb

Oh those are so cute!

I've been using a small lightweight photo album - it works! Pretty darn ugly though:(

Guest's picture
Kelly

These are cute--though my highly scientific used envelope system works too (put coupons in used envelope, secure with paperclip, transfer to new used envelope with grocery list scrawled on it when it's time to go shopping, hide all of the above when company comes).

Guest's picture
Linda

I use an envelope. It gets torn easily, so I would love something more study and permanent!

Guest's picture
Melody

I use a regular accordian organizer and file the coupons by category. I do have a problem with weeding out the expired ones though. Have though about filing by expiration date but does that work? Hard to find coupons you want?

Guest's picture
Mark

I use a binder with baseball card clear pages where I place my coupons. I have about 20 pages of coupons, grouped by cereal, meat, past, etc.

Guest's picture

Hi everyone!
I had so much fun making the custom logo coupon organizer for you all. This is a marvelous article and I want to personally invite you all to my shop. I just recently made a sale catagory and lowered my shipping to $2.00. I have been working hard to add new things this week for you. So I hope you stop by and find something you like!

Thanks so much!

I am THE MOST HORRIBLE organizer with the best of intentions. I have some coupons on the refrigerator, some in the "junk drawer", some in the cabinet, several scattered around the house (from the kids pulling them out of their other locations to play grocery store). Unfortunately, this means I throw out more than I use because I remember and find them past their expiration dates. A coupon organizer would probably be a great help. A home organizer would be good, too. :-)

Guest's picture
jeana

i don't even have a system b/c my husband takes the coupons of out of the sunday paper, throws them in a shoebox, a RED shoebox with the word "coupon" printed on the side in sharpie, on top of our fridge. delightful addition to our kitchen ambiance. so whenever i want coupons, i have to get my stepladder, get the box and dig through.
Thanks!

Guest's picture

...By clipping together via paper clips and stuffing them in plastic, disposable bags. I need a better system, lol.

Guest's picture

I currently use a plastic organizer from Walmart. I separate my coupons by category. I use my organizer all the time and almost need a second or replacement.

Guest's picture
Joanna

I use an ugly orange plastic organizer to store my coupons. It is a bit too big and really difficult to use while juggling my shopping list, pen to cross things off the list, and shopping cart. I would LOVE a cute and functional organizer!

Guest's picture
Amber

I keep my coupons in an ugly, enormous school binder. I just got it but I feel like such a dork bringing it into a store!

Guest's picture
Guest

I would love a lovely designer organizer.

Guest's picture
Kathryn Martorina

mine are thrown in a drawer and not organized,,,very hard to use.

Guest's picture
cavale

i would be sooo delighted if i won one of these!

currently, my "organization system" goes something like, save all the excerpts w/o clipping anything unless i'm going to use it that day.

when i get to the store, i keep all the coupons in on pocket, and then as i pick up each item i move it to the other pocket.

Guest's picture
Laura

I store mine in small, zippered makeup bags, but if I have several categories, this gets pretty bulky!

Guest's picture
Susan G

Currently I store all my coupons in a ziploc bag. I can never find anything. I tried using the multiple envelope method but the envelopes ended up getting a bit ratty and I haven't replaced them yet. This would be a life saver!

Thank you for all the wonderful content and this give a way.

Guest's picture
Courtney Hunt

I currently use the Couponizer but would love to win one of these!

Guest's picture
Emily

I try and keep them organized in envelopes according to type (grocery, restaurant, etc), but fail. I'd love a new organizer to get things (and keep things!) all sorted out!

Guest's picture
Meredith

I could really use one of these. I just use a paper clip!

Guest's picture
Laura Collins

I have my coupons in a small case sorted by catergorys.
I would like to have this for $1.00 coupons.

Guest's picture
GT0163C

My coupons are organized by category (broad or narrow based on my uses) in envelopes (usually those return envelopes that come with credit card offers and magazine renewals. All of the envelopes are kept in a small plastic crate. When I make my grocery list, I sort through the coupons, pull what I can use and discard the expired ones. The ones I will use, go into another envelope on which I write my shopping list.

It's not a perfect system, but for me, it balances ease of maintainablility with usefulness.

Guest's picture
Leah

Unfortunately, they are sorted by date in a tattered old envelope that gets thrown around in my purse.

Guest's picture
boognish1

I keep them in my kitchen junk drawer. Not cool.

Guest's picture
Kris

I have a small plastic envelope with 3 paper envelopes inside it: one for food, one for household, and one for personal care. Baby coupons are loose in the main envelope.

Guest's picture
Deborah S

Currently I use a coupon organizer that I got from Dollar General and it's not a great organizer. The separators are flimsy. The outside is okay and waterproof but I could sure use an upgrade!

Guest's picture
Jessica H

I currently post coupons on my fridge with a magnet (and forget to take them to the store). Definitely a problem I'd love to solve...If I had a super-cute organizer like these I'd remember it!

Guest's picture
Sheila

I'm currently using my 20+ year old vinyl organizer. The only problem - all the interior slots have split so all the coupons end up in the front with paper clips.

Guest's picture
CA

I keep coupons in a single folder in a file box I keep at home. The problem is that I have to remember to check the folder before going shopping, which I usually forget to do. These organizers look cute and portable and would totally solve my problem!!

Guest's picture
Donna

I am not organized. Basically, I have a pile of coupons on the kitchen counter and a rubber band around a batch of coupons in my purse. I can't seem to find the time to organize. I definitely need help

Guest's picture
Brian

Jeez, now I feel bad. I use a few envelopes and a notepad. Have pity and spiff me up?

Guest's picture
mila rianto

I keep them in a box and stuff 'em on my wallet when needed.

Guest's picture

My coupon organizer is an old plastic one from Target. I think it was supposed to be a place to keep bills from getting lost, but it's small enough for a purse, so for me, it stores coupons. The elastic to keep it closed died a long time ago. I've lost a couple of divider tabs, but because the tabs only list a couple of letters of the alphabet, it's still easy to keep track. It almost seems like this reflects my harried SAHM lifestyle and I would love something new and cute if only just to look like I got all under control!!

Thanks!

Guest's picture
Tina

I keep most of my coupons in a basket in a drawer in the kitchen, but out of sight is out of mind - I rarely remember them before they're expired. Sometimes I put them in a folder or on my bulletin board in the kitchen, but if there's more than 1 or 2 coupons, or if they are not "urgent," the clutter drives me nuts and I stick them in the bottomless drawer again.

With an adorable coupon holder like the Wise Bread one, I could leave it out on my desk and ENJOY seeing my coupons, instead of hiding them!

Guest's picture

honestly, I would give it to my mother. I think she would really like a new coupon organizer.

I use a loose-leaf binder filled with trading card sleeves to organize my coupons, then I transfer the ones that I am going to use on my next shopping trip to a small coupon organizer like the ones shown here. But mine isn't nearly as stylish! :)

Guest's picture
KelR1

When I stay on top of things I put my coupons in an organizer I've had for many years. It's an accordion-style but not nearly as cute as the ones shown here. It's just a plain solid black one, and it's so old that it's falling apart.

Guest's picture
karpat

I use a small cosmetic bag with index cards as dividers. The coupons that I am most excited about using soon I file in the front so that I remember to use them when I go shopping. It fits in my purse so I almost always have my coupons with me.

Guest's picture

I currently use two expanding 13 pocket check files. The first one contains food related coupons only, the second contains coupons for toiletries like soap, shampoo. toothpaste, etc. I carry them with me wherever I go. You never know when you'll need a coupon.

Guest's picture
Cheryl W

I currently keep them in a horrible plastic container. These look wonderful!

Guest's picture
Lyndsae

I currently don't organize my coupons. They go in the front pocket of my purse where they stay until they either expire or get thrown away. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE at cute, practical way to organize them.

Guest's picture
Allison

For my coupons, I use a freebie long letter file that came with one of those large floppy plastic divider files. It's pretty boring and it's starting to finally fall apart, but it gets the job done. I took the monthly tabs that came with it, flipped them over, and renamed them to coupon categories that made sense to me, such as "breakfast," "freezer lunch" and "snacks."

Guest's picture
Shirley

My coupons are currently in a brown box; now very organized at all, could really use the organizer because I use coupons every time I go to the market. Hope I am a winner so I can organize!

Guest's picture

envelopes lots and lots of envelopes thanks for the giveaway

Guest's picture
Guest

i currently cram them all in to a weight watchers carryall case thingie. no organization whatsoever. would love this adorable organizer!

Guest's picture
Therese

We just keep them in a folder in the car-yes, they do often expire or get lost before we use them

Guest's picture
Jaime

Well, these are WAY more stylish than my plastic purple monster.

Guest's picture
Steph

I have mine in an expandable file-thingy that cost $3 at Target. It's so huge and ungainly it's a pain to tote around and I always forget it. It's cracked and the elastic around the outside is shot! I need to re-do the categories inside, because "snacks" and "pizza" don't need their own folders. Well, maybe...

Guest's picture

I have been using a plain brown paper bag and it's wild.
I hate it. Please send me a coupon organizer.

Guest's picture

I have no real organization for my coupons. I just shove them into my wallet and hope for the best right now when I go to the store. Those are beautiful organizers and I am sure they would help a lot in being organized for shopping trips.

I am a sad case, I use envelopes in 4 general categories that I hold together with a rubber band. This would be a lot better!

Guest's picture
Jara

I use the coupon binder method. I have two binders, one for groceries and one for everything else. I made my own sections with hanging tab dividers and store the coupons in baseball card inserts. It cost less than $10 to make both binders, and I put them together in less than a half hour.

Guest's picture
Dianne Tubbs

I keep my coupons in a shoe box and have a couple of the small coupon holders you buy at Walmart that hold just a few coupons. So I have to go through all of mine in my shoebox and my two small organizers. These organizers are beautiful!

Guest's picture

to an adorable organizer. I use a clear plastic accordion thing that came from my dad with a photo CD in it. It's OK, but too tall, so sometimes coupons spill out. It is, however, an aesthetic improvement on my former organizer -- a red nylon Hormel-branded coupon organizer that I got for 99 cents at Goodwill. Lost it when someone STOLE it (really!) from my gym bag at the gym. Different strokes for different folks ...

Guest's picture
Molly

I keep them in a group in my purse. Then I pull out whatever "categories" I can find in the store - the last time I was buying deodorant, I somehow lost the coupon between the aisle and the store....

Guest's picture
Cari King

I currently store all of my coupons in a large binder that zips up the side. It is very bulky and I hate carrying it in the store.

Guest's picture
Guest

Exactly the same as Molly's "Envelopes hold my coupons".

Guest's picture
Amanda

I have a little coupon organizer that I bought discounted years ago because they cut a little slit in it when they opened the box... the little labels have always fallen out of the slots telling you which category is which... but by now I've memorized them. It also only has 6 slots, which is a pain b/c I can never find the coupon I need. But every Sunday when I cut out more coupons, I go through the whole mess and throw out any that have expired and pull out any that I know I need to use ASAP!

Guest's picture
Lizzy

Right now I tend to just jam my coupons in my wallet, in the section with my dollar bills, business cards, and whatever other flat paper objects I happen to need in there. It's definitely not a good system, because the coupons tend to get mixed in with everything else, and I'm at the store saying "I KNOW I had a cereal coupon in here," and I can't find it, and 2 days later I find it crunched in between two singles. :(

Guest's picture
denyse

I have a coupon organizer already...but it's ugly and freying on the edges. These are so darn cute!

I can't believe I found your giveaway. Last Saturday somewhere between handing the cashier the coupons I was using for my purchase and when I got home my coupon organizer of 10 years disappeared. I have been so heartbroken, it was like an old friend. I typically save between 20 and 30 dollars a week and have been couponing for 30 years.

I would really love to win one of the organizers.

Thanks for the chance to win.

I love that something so utilitarian is so nice! I felt like I got on top of my life when I bought one of those ugly plastic accordian folders--this would be such an improvement!

My wife uses an old nylon coupon organizer that my mother dug out of her old junk draw. It works, but it's beat up and not so stylish, unlike these great organizers.

Guest's picture
Laura

I usually store all of my coupon inserts in a file drawer, sorted by date - but I use a small coupon organizer to keep all of my clipped coupons that I plan to use, that I print, or that I didn't end up using. So, I would LOVE to win one of these!

Guest's picture
Dan

i used a five-pocket large plastic organizer. the categories are a bit general so sometimes it takes a while to find the coupon i'm looking for, but then I save time putting coupons aways. i could use a smaller size one to take with me when i go to the supermarket or drugstore.

Guest's picture
Barb

These products are sooo cool! I currently keep my coupons in a #10 white envelope. I use other envelopes and cut them to make category sections to try and make it easier to find them when you need them.

Guest's picture
Tiff

Right now they are just randomly floating around in my purse. I really need to get them located in one spot so I can find them. If I had a snazzy organizer ;) then they would have a new home.

Guest's picture
Guest

I bring two envelopes with me to the store. One envelope has all of the coupons in it and as I pick up a product I move the coupon from the full one to the empty one. That way when I get ready to checkout, I just have to hand off all the coupons I've used.

Guest's picture
Jenny

I throw all my coupons in a basket. I need a way to organize them.

Guest's picture
Ashley

Currently, I use a small plastic envelope. It is sturdier than a paper one, but it doesn't have dividers and I spend forever rifling through it for what I'm looking for in the store. I really need to get a divided organizer like one of these!

Guest's picture
michelle

I'm pretty disorganized. I keep some envelopes of coupons I plan to use in my purse, but at home they are in boxes and bags...in various rooms. Please help me get more organized!
