find anything on sale http://www.wisebread.com/topic/find-anything-on-sale-0 en-US The AMAZON URL hack generator. Save big $$$. http://www.wisebread.com/the-amazon-url-hack-generator-save-big

In a previous post I mentioned url hacking. It's basically just a way to figure out how to get to the bargains more quickly, and involves finding the codes for the different departments on Amazon and matching them to a sale percentage. And I'm boring myself just taling about it! Isn't there an easier way?

Well, you can use sites like junglecrazy.com, as I also mentioned in another post. But there, you are limited to what the junglecrazy folks find interesting. You don't get to see the whole ball of wax. So, I did a little digging and found out that a very nice guy has generated a URL hacking script just for amazon. It can be found right here , and it makes the whole process stupidly simple.

As you can see, it's just a simple search engine. Use the pulldown menu to choose your category, select the clearance price (I always go high first, and then work down) and then hit the button. You'll be taken to an Amazon search page with all your results sorted by price. Sweet.

UPDATE!
The Consumerist has just announced yet another version of this bargain finder. You can find it right here .
<a href="http://www.wisebread.com/the-amazon-url-hack-generator-save-big" class="sharethis-link" title="The AMAZON URL hack generator.
