In the old days, frequent travelers would call their travel agent to make airline, hotel, and rental car reservations. These days, travelers can do all of this themselves through the Internet, but it takes time to shop around for each reservation. The alternative is to use online booking sites that allow you to compare prices and make reservation all at once.

In addition, the most popular online booking sites allow travelers to earn rewards when they use a co-branded credit card. In this way, travelers can sometimes double-dip by earning these rewards in addition to frequent flyer miles. Here are the best credit cards offered by popular online booking sites.

Expedia+ Card from Citi

The Expedia®+ Card from our partner Citi offers 3x points for every dollar spent on eligible Expedia purchases, including flights, hotels, activities, and travel packages, and 1 point for every dollar spent on other purchases. Cardholders also receive automatic +silver status each year of cardmembership, which offers 10% bonus points and other exclusive benefits. New cardholders can earn 15,000 Expedia+ rewards bonus points after spending $1,000 in purchases, also within the first 3 months, which is redeemable for $200 in towards your stay at a +VIP Access™ hotel. This card has a variable APR of 15.99%-23.99% on purchases and balance transfers. There is no annual fee.

The APR for purchases and balance transfers is 14.99%-22.99% (variable). There is no foreign transaction fee but there is a $95 annual fee.
