In an effort to “woo” small businesses, bulk-buying retailers are pulling out all the stops. The WSJ blog reports that all 3 of the major warehouse companies are getting into the act, giving new members cost-comparison tools to help them decide which plan is best for them.
Sam’s Club is one business looking to personalize the experience even further, with their Sam’s Club Small Business Savings Drive, part of a campaign that culminates during National Small Business Week May 22. Associates are working for small business owners to find at least $270 million in savings by comparing the prices of similar business-related products to items available at Sam’s Club.
Sam's Club wants to see the cost-comparison in action, so they’re giving one lucky Wise Bread reader the chance to “test-drive” a Sam’s Club business membership, complete with a $100 gift card to purchase supplies! Here’s how you can win:
Just post a comment in this forum thread with how a $100 GC and a one-year business membership to Sam's Club could help you. You must be a current US resident, a small business owner, and be 18 or over. You must also have access to a Sam's Club and be willing to participate in a small-business cost-comparison with a Sam's Club associate within 14 days from receiving your prize.
Upon completion of your cost-comparison and shopping experience, you agree to provide Wise Bread with details of your experience for a follow-up post on Wise Bread (in which we'll share your business with our readers.) We'll randomly pick an eligible winner from this thread on 4/27/09.
