One Money Design is a personal finance blog that exists to help people achieve true financial freedom so they can be more generous with their time and money.
Jason Price was inspired to create One Money Design based on his volunteer work as a financial coach and his passion for personal finance and web entrepreneurship. As a financial coach, Jason works with individuals and couples to help them organize their finances, get out of debt and learn Biblical principles of financial stewardship.
The One Money Design articles provide practical financial tips across many different categories of personal finance to help people make progress on their financial journeys.
About Jason’s Financial Journey
Soon after getting married 10 years ago, Jason and Jennifer Price took a Crown Financial Ministries small group Biblical financial study class at their local church. They learned the importance of managing money God’s way and it changed their perspective on personal finance forever.
Since the study, Jason and Jennifer continue to grow as faithful stewards, tithing and managing their money with a spending plan each month, avoiding debt and saving for the future. Doing so doesn’t come without challenges, but they trust God to provide for their needs.
What Does One Money Design Mean?
“One Money Design” many not initially make sense when you read it. However, when you break apart the words, you’ll find it reflects the underlying Biblical principles of stewardship the blog is based upon.
- There is One owner of money (God);
- Our job is to manage Money as faithful stewards;
- We can manage money wisely if we follow God’s Design or Biblical financial principles
According to Howard Dayton, co-founder of Crown Financial Ministries, the Bible contains over 2300 scriptures about money. God provided a lot of guidance for what can be a challenging area of life. Scripture tells us God is the owner of money (Psalms 24:1) and we are the managers (1 Corinthians 4: 1-2).
