At one point or another, you may find yourself needing to cut caffeine from your diet (or at least scaling way back.) While it may initially be a shock to your system to forgo the rush from your favorite coffee variety, I find that it also gets a little boring. I finally quit drinking coffee three weeks ago.

It's not something that I particularly wanted to do, but I did it. And now that I have, I'm actually really happy about it. I feel liberated, I feel healthier, and I have already saved myself quite a nice sum of cash - cash that used to go towards black gold of the Starbucks variety.

Now, I'm not one to advocate for a boycott of caffeine or anything. But, if you're already thinking about quitting caffeine, here are some reasons, and methods, for doing so.

8 Cheap Ways to Lower Your Blood Sugar

One of the many crappy things about diabetes, and there are many many crappy things about diabetes, is that it creates a vicious cycle of weight gain and medicating.

Let's say you have a sandwich for lunch. You take the appropriate amount of medication to keep your blood sugars normal. But an hour after lunch, you feel slightly ill, so you check your blood sugar level, and it's too high. So you take some more medicine to lower you sugar levels. Another hour goes by, and you feel weak and dizzy.
