Coupon of the month! $30 off a $30 purchase at ShopNBC.

It's not often a deal of this magnitude comes along, so grab it while you can folks. Right now (for a limited time, but I don't know how long...sorry) ShopNBC accepts a coupon that takes $30 off a minmium purchase of $30. Basically, it's $30 for free. Gratis. Nada. The only stipulation I can find is that the $30 has to be spent on one item, not a bunch of items that add up to $30. No problem for me though, there's plenty on ShopNBC that I can pick up for just a little more than that price, making the item almost free.

Here in Colorado the average temperature around midday is now above 90 degrees...every day. Pah, say you folks in Arizona. But for me, it's way too hot for comfort. So I tracked down some stellar bargains to help me (and of course, you) keep cool as the summer continues. As with most deals, I can't guarantee when they'll expire. So, get 'em while you can. 1 - Mini-fridge holds 6 cans of soda or beer - Under $14.

Are these genuine bargains, or a pile of garbage?

Sale?

One of the great things about being a blogger for Wisebread is that I have a large community of people to call on for help and advice when I need it. So far I've rarely called on your sage advice, but today is different. I have stumbled upon quite a few deals in the last 24 hours and they all look good to me. But are they?

I have published my shopping list below. If you think the item is a good idea, I'll jump on it (and so should you if you want it). If you scream at me that I'm a moron for even considering such an obviously crappy buy, I'll avoid it. I'm hoping they are all steal, but hey, 2 out of 5 would be fine.

open gift

I love these discounts. It makes you feel special knowing you're getting, say, 30% off when every other sucker is paying full price. But being a Wisebread blogger I have to share the wealth with my readers. After all, I can't keep a clean conscience knowing I'm letting you guys pay full price for something, ever. So, without further ado, here's a bunch of great discount codes (some just in time for Mother's Day...hey, nothing wrong with getting Mom more for your money), and the applicable dates if known. Shop till you drop my fine frugal friends.

It's raining deals right now. For a limited time you can give your beloved pooch the benefit of not one but SIX free bones, courtesy of ruffchews.com. Their premium sample heavyweight rawhide case usually retails for $17.95 but with a special code you get it free. Just pay shipping (for me, it was about $8).

Here's what's in the case...

Now is the time to buy: Easter Supplies

Posted 1 year ago by Andrea Dickson

I was shopping for some paintbrushes* yesterday at one of my favorite arts-n-craft supply stores, and lo and behold, Easter supplies were still in stock- but discounted to really low prices.

Craft stores are a great place to stock up, because they carry such a range of goodies and decorations. Wreaths made from (faux) eggs, which were priced at $29 before Easter are now $9 each at my JoAnn's fabrics.
