I’m a big fan of Howcast. Their website is a treasure trove of information, and you can also find their videos on popular sites like Metacafe and YouTube. Sometimes their advice is really useful, sometimes it’s just plain weird, but it’s always very entertaining. Howcast videos also end with a handy dandy fact; the icing on the cake so to speak.

Productivity, General Tips
You've no doubt seen the question in many different forms. Sometimes it's, "What would you do if you learned you were going to die tomorrow?" Productivity
The New Year is infamous when it comes to resolutions — not because most people manage to turn over a new leaf but because we declare big goals, work towards them for a few months and then forget about them. I have more vehicle repairs to make than I have days in a year. My sink is clogged, and I’m bailing out water with buckets. Diapers just went up another 15% in my area. (And guess who’s not making any more money than they were last week?) I should cry. I should get fired up over the economy and blame my dog for life’s difficulties. Shouldn’t I? These fine bloggers disagree, and I’ll share what they know!

How many times do you click on a link to an article, video, image or anything else of interest and want to visit the homepage of that site? It happens to me all the time. Sometimes finding the homepage link is fairly easy, on other occasions it's buried. And then you have to go up to the address bar, delete all of the information before the domain name and hit enter. Well, not any more with the help of this "bookmarklet."

Career and Income, Productivity
I spent a few weeks being extremely productive. And by productive I mean that I worked many more hours than usual. I was consumed by work. I was focused, efficient, and produced good, solid, measurable work. I was feeling pretty good about myself, until I got sick. In Japan, there is a term for death by overworking – “karoshi.”
