Quick deal to start the weekend off just right. SELF magazine is giving away FREE ONE-YEAR subscriptions to their popular women's publication. Covering everything from fitness and food to health and beauty, it's a great magazine for this price.

Just click here and you'll be taken to the sign-up form. As always, these deals can expire quickly so get in there fast. As with most of these subscriptions, you can expect to receive your first issue after 6-8 weeks. So if you already read this magazine, don't expect to get your next issue in the mail. You'll still have to  pick it up at the checkout.

Thanks to The Bargainst for the tip.

I love Self - I actually just filled out the form for the free subscription a couple weeks ago. And is it just me, or will it tell you that NuvaRing is right for you no matter what??

Hi, Beth. Isn't it funny that magazines seem to love the NuvaRing so much? I'm beginning to wonder how much of a kickback they are getting from big pharma.

Thanks for the tip, Paul. I actually really like Self - one of the few women's magazines that doesn't make me want to stab myself in the eye.

Not for Canadians. Arrrrrgh. Thanks for letting us know anyways :) I like Self as well.

Andrea and Bethany: Just out of curiosity, are you talking about articles or advertising?

I like Self, but it would cost me $30 a year to subscribe instead of the $8 for Americans. Seems like a rip-off to me. (Can't they find a Canadian distributor?)

I filled out the form and almost submitted it, but then I remembered that I am working on cutting down on the clutter in my life, and that I wouldn't read most of the articles anyway.

I hope this works out - never did receive the free book offer for 'What to expect when your expecting' that I signed up for last year. :(

Thanks for the tip!

To those who want to reduce clutter, you can always donate the magazines to your doctor's office. :)

Awesome! Self is one of my favorites - I buy it several times a year, depending on articles. This is such a cool surprise. Many thanks!
