Annalise Silivanch is a writer and Area Chair of Humanities at University of Phoenix. Jersey City. Her most recent book, which helps high school students choose a college, will be published this fall by Rosen Publishing. Her alterna-passion is environmental health and food activism, especially finding ways to move public schools from the "breaded chicken patty on white bun" into fresher, healthier territories. She has amassed her green home techniques from six years of parenting and the ever-challenging attempt keeping a joyful house humming with the fewest tears possible.
