I graduated from the College of Saint Rose in July 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration. I started my family a few months after I graduated, and instead of running out to find a job, I decided to start a freelance writing business from home. This allowed me the opportunity to raise my children and earn income at the same time.
I have two children, currently ages 6 and 3.
I've been writing for the last six years, and have recently expanded into helping others make money from writing, too.
I provide regular content on a number of blogs and websites, with a focus on personal finance and consumer issues - my favorites are DestroyDebt.com and DepositAccounts.com.
I co-own and write for the Empowering Mom Blog, for parents who are working from home (or wish they were). I also write ebooks, email marketing campaigns, and articles on a full range of topics.
