He has over two years of experience as a financial writer, and has written securities and insurance training material for several different exams, including the Series 7, 66 and 26 exams. He writes articles for several financial websites and is also involved in an oil and gas venture capital firm. He has a B.S. in English from the University of Kansas and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation from the University of Missouri Bloch School of Business in 2001. In his spare time, Mark enjoys church activities, watching sports on TV, reading and model trains.
