The Baglady
I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in electrical engineering and computer science in 2005, and then worked at quite a few different jobs around the Silicon Valley as a software engineer. Then I started to write a blog called The Baglady shortly before I married a sweet game developer. My blog is about responsible money management and other crazy stuff that goes on in this world. The Baglady somehow caught the attention of Wise Bread and here I am.
I am very interested in people's attitudes toward money, and socio-cultural aspects of finances. I also maintain San Mateo Home Sellers in Trouble , a blog detailing the losses of home sellers in my neighborhood.
I am writing because I love to write and I want to convey the message that you can be happy and frugal. Also, I hate that people my age are labeled as Generation Debt so I want to do something about it. I hope my articles will amuse and educate my readers.
