A Complete Guide to Saving at America's Baseball Stadiums

ShareThis

Many people don’t know this about of me, but I love a good baseball game.

The cheering crowd, the grilled hot dogs, the well-fitted uniforms — they’re all reasons I head to the stadium any chance I can.

But these days, enjoying a night out at the ballpark can cause serious pain to your pocket. Unless, of course, you know how to root, root, root for the home team like I do. I’ve been to stadiums all across America, and before I go, I do my research on how and where I can cut costs. And now you can, too.

In this first-of-its-kind article (I’m totally sticking by that statement since I couldn’t find anything like this online), I’m giving you the 411 on how to save more money and better enjoy America’s favorite pastime at every Major League Baseball stadium in the United States (and that lonely one in Canada). Batter up! (See also: 10 Inexpensive Weekend Getaways Anyone Can Take)

This is why the Red Sox need a bigger stadium. No deals whatsoever. Corporate buys most of the good seats which leaves obstructive view, SRO or the bleachers. They are more interested in keeping their home sold out record.

At the braves stadium you can sign up to be a designated driver and receive a coupon for a free soft drink...about a $5.00 value.

Not sure if it is at all stadiums, but at Camden Yards (Baltimore Orioles) You can get a free "small" soda, (actually pretty big, my guess is 20oz, but stopping at the Designated Drivers booth. Just have to get a paper bracelet that says you are not drinking booze and BOOM, free soda. Same soda costs over $4 at the stand
