Editor's note: This offer is currently unavailable.

The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card provides an opportunity to earn miles from your purchases that can be redeemed for flights with Alaska Airlines and other partner airlines. With flights available to 800+ destinations, it's easy to see why the airline is one of the largest in the country. If you fly frequently with Alaska Airlines or any of its partner airlines, this card can provide you with valuable rewards and travel benefits.

How This Card Works

Earn three miles for each dollar spent on eligible Alaska Airlines purchases, and one mile for each dollar spent elsewhere.

Miles can be redeemed for upgrades and flights with Alaska Airline or partner airlines such as British Airways, American Airlines, Emirates, Korean Air, Qantas, and more. Flights are available for as few as 5,000 miles for a one-way ticket and upgrades to First Class Cabin are as low as 15,000 miles. There is no cap on the miles you can earn and miles do not expire as long as your account is not inactive for two years.

Other Benefits

Free checked bag. Get a free checked bag on Alaska Airline flights for you and up to six other guests on the same reservation.

Annual companion fare. Each year you'll receive a round-trip coach Companion Fare (from $121) for Alaska Airline flights when traveling with another passenger on a paid coach ticket. It is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. (See also: Credit Cards That Offer Companion Fare)

Pros

Award flights with other airlines. There are 15 partner airlines you can redeem your miles with which can be convenient if you don't always travel with Alaska Airlines.

Companion fare ticket. In addition to the Companion Fare you receive as a new cardmember after qualifying purchases, you receive this companion fare ticket each year on your anniversary.

No foreign transaction fee. Foreign transaction fees with travel rewards cards can be a significant drawback if you travel abroad frequently because the fee devalues any rewards earned from the purchases, especially at the common rate 3%. With this card, you won't have to worry about having to pay any foreign transaction fees.

Who This Card Is Best For

The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card is best for those who frequently travel with Alaska Airlines, in order to earn triple miles on purchases and can use the annual companion fare ticket which would help offset the cost of the annual fee.
