The Bank of America Cash Rewards credit card for Students offers not only a great rewards program for earning cash back on purchases that may be common for students, but also provides an opportunity for students to build their credit history. As far as perks and rewards go, this is one of the best student credit cards on the market.

How This Card Works

This card awards 3% cash back for gas purchases and 2% cash back for grocery store and wholesale club purchases, for the first $2,500 in combined gas, grocery, and wholesale club purchases each quarter. You also earn an unlimited 1% cash back for all other purchases and for gas and grocery purchases after you have reached the quarterly limit. Bank of America customers receive a 10% bonus if redeeming cash back into a Bank of America® checking or savings account. There is no annual fee.

Who This Card Is Best For

The Bank of America Cash Rewards credit card for Students is best for college students who can use the card for gas, grocery, and wholesale club purchases that total less than $2,500 per quarter, and can consistently pay their balances in full each month to avoid any interest charges. It is also a great card for students who are existing Bank of America customers to take advantage of the extra 10% bonus.
