Great list of articles. I just started my own blog about personal finance and even though I didn't do it for profit, because let's be honest a brand new blog is not going to make any money for a looooong time, but I still like to think that maybe some day I would make at least enough to pay for the hosting fees.
I thought starting a blog was difficult but it really was very easy. It takes a little bit of time but it's doable. I still have a lot to learn about blogging but why not start now?
I say if you have something to say about any topic that interest you, just start a blog even if it's just for yourself. Hey, you never know.
