I would invest my $1000 into an ETF with betterment or in a blend of stocks through my broker.

I really am struggling at this juncture, my nest egg is depleted. I would feel so much better if I had some $$s in the savings account..it makes for sweet sleep.

To pay for renovating old parts of my house/rental property

I would use the money to help my son's pay for their college tuition. I hate the thoughts of them being in debt after college.
I'd use some of the gift card to buy a few personal items for myself and partner, purchase some reading material for a teacher I know in East L.A., donate some kids' books to the women's shelter here in town, and keep the rest to use throughout the year as needs (mine or someone else's) popped up.

If I won the $1000 giveaway, I would buy my fiancee some new, tufted chairs to match the new dining room table for our house.
we really need a new vacuum ours broke. With 3 little ones a vacuum is a must. I would love to get my kids some winter coats and boots as well.
We put our home on the market back in early September with the intentions to gain more space for our growing family. We had a buyer in November, and had the home inspection shortly after. After negotiating, we need to come up with 12k in repair costs. We have been able to do this, but has put a real damper on the holiday season. If I was to win, I would use this to help pay down debt& use towards paying off repair costs& moving costs.

If I won the $1000 grand prize, or any prize. I would save it and use it towards my 2 year old daughter's major chest surgery coming up in January. My fiance will have to take a week or 2 off work so we will be very short on money in January. Any money we have now we will have to save, and use to buy food every day at the hospital which can be so pricey sometimes for the both of us! So anything would definitely help! Especially when we have so many other things to worry about. Money is the last thing we want on our minds! Thank you! :)

If I won, I would put half in my savings account and the other half in an account at our non-profit agency to help people who have transportation issues that keep them from working (repairs, need to reinstate their license, etc.). I live in a rural area with no mass transit options.

I'd probably use the money to do some upgrades around the house. We want a couple of new light fixtures and need a new door for our AC closet.
If I won the $1,000, I would put it towards paying off my student loans. I'm trying to be debt free in the next four years!
If I won the $1,000 Amazon gift card I would spend $300 on food and then I would buy my husband and son new coats and boots and I would take the rest and buy myself a laptop because the one I have is old and slow that I want to throw it out the window.
We're expecting our first in short order here, and while we're doing a decent job of keeping costs down, we'll be looking down the barrel of quite a lot of new costs (diapering! whatever else babies need!) and this would really come in handy defraying that since we're also taking care of a new dog that has a tough medical condition.

Tough one. Since it is an Amazon gift card. I would buy items that would help us save. Things I've always wanted but have had to wait on like a food saver, yogurt maker, and because I've always been wanting to do stamping, I'd look into stamping kits.
