The Expedia®+ Voyager Card from our partner Citi offers perks, rewards, and annual bonuses for dedicated Expedia fans and travelers.
This card awards four points for every dollar spent on Expedia purchases including flights, hotels, activities, and travel packages. You also earn two points for each dollar spent on dining and entertainment, which includes tickets to concerts, movies, and sporting events, and one point for each dollar spent on all other purchases. You can earn an unlimited number of points and points do not expire as long as you earn or redeem points every 18 months.
Bonus offer: Earn 25,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 within the first 3 months.
Your points can be redeemed for hotel stays, airfare, dining, entertainment, and even charitable donations. The point value is dependent on how you redeem but, points are worth double if you redeem them for stays at Expedia's 200 premium +VIP hotels worldwide.
Anniversary bonus. Each year that you spend $10,000, you'll get 5,000 bonus points.
$100 annual air travel fee credit. Get up to $100 statement credit toward airline incidentals or for either the TSA PreCheck or Global Entry application fee.
+Gold status. Enjoy special perks like room upgrades and flexible check in/out at +VIP Access hotels.
Citi Private Pass. This Citi feature provides exclusive access to purchases tickets for concerts, dining experiences, sporting events, and theatrical performances not available to non-cardholders.
Concierge service. As a cardholder you also receive 24 /7 personal concierge service anywhere in the world for assistance booking flights and hotel rooms, purchasing gifts, and making reservations.
Trip Cancellation & Interruption Protection. You are eligible for reimbursement of non-refundable fees in the event you have to change your travel plans.
Trip Delay Protection. If your trip is delayed for 12 or more hours, you can be reimbursed for expenses incurred such as meals to hotel rooms and other unplanned expenses.
Citi Price Rewind. Another valuable Citi feature included with the card which allows you register your purchases, and if the purchase is found within 60 days at a lower price you can receive a refund of the difference.
Valuable bonus offer. These points can be redeemed for $250 in coupons at +VIP Access hotels, or $125 if you redeem them with other hotels. This bonus can potentially cover your annual fee for at least three years.
Complimentary Gold status. The Expedia rewards program offers opportunities to earn elite statuses, Blue, Silver, and Gold. As a cardholder, you automatically earn Gold status each year of card membership. This is the highest tier available and provides perks such as a bonus points accelerator of 30% and hotel room upgrades.
Air travel fee credit. Each year you receive a credit of $100 which can be applied to air travel fees such as airline incidentals or for the application fee for the Global Entry or TSA Pre ✓. This credit can essentially cover your annual card fee, if you fly frequently.
Anniversary bonus. If you spend $10,000 with your card in a calendar year, the following year you can receive an anniversary bonus of 5,000 Expedia points.
Opportunities to earn. You can earn points on Expedia purchases, but also on dining out and entertainment, which can provide more opportunities to rack up points for your next hotel stay or airline ticket.
No foreign transaction fee. For those who travel abroad, this alone can save hundreds of dollars when compared to other travel rewards credit cards which charge as much as 3% for purchases made outside of the U.S.
Annual fee. Although there are a number of opportunities to earn bonuses and valuable benefits that can help pay for the annual fee, if you aren't able to meet the requirements, you will find the $95 annual card fee to be a burden. Many card users are not going to find the benefits and perks offered substantial enough to justify such a fee. Consider other travel rewards cards that might suit your needs better. The Expedia+ Voyager Card from Citi is the most ideal for those who consistently shop for and make travel arrangements such as hotel stays, airfare, and vacation packages through Expedia. It is also a great card for those who frequently travel outside of the United States, because there is no foreign transaction fee. However, because of the annual fee, it is important that you are able to take advantage of the many rewards and bonus opportunities to get the most from the credit card.
