While there are a ton of apps to help you automate your finances, some people prefer the old-school spreadsheet method. Spreadsheets are an excellent financial tool, because you can input your financial goals and numbers, and allow the spreadsheet to do the rest of the work. We rounded up a sample of free spreadsheet templates for every budgeting need.

1. Extended budget template

After searching for the perfect budgeting template for years, Libby Kane of Business Insider decided to create her own. This template is perfect for anyone looking to track both their business and personal spending all in one place.
