In the old days, frequent travelers would call their travel agent to make airline, hotel, and rental car reservations. These days, travelers can do all of this themselves through the Internet, but it takes time to shop around for each reservation. The alternative is to use online booking sites that allow you to compare prices and make reservation all at once.

In addition, the most popular online booking sites allow travelers to earn rewards when they use a co-branded credit card. In this way, travelers can sometimes double-dip by earning these rewards in addition to frequent flyer miles. Here are the best credit cards offered by popular online booking sites.

Orbitz Rewards Visa Card

This card offers 10% back in Orbucks when you book eligible hotels on their mobile app, or 8% for bookings from their desktop website. Cardholders earn 6% back in Orbucks on all flights, 7% at qualifying restaurants, and 2% on all other purchases. In addition, new cardholders receive a $100 statement credit when they use their card to spend $1500 within the first 90 days of account opening. These Orbucks can be used for reservations at qualifying hotels. Cardholders also receive Gold status with the Orbitz Rewards program which offers perks like hotel upgrades, w-fi and breakfast at Orbitz Rewards Hotels. There is no annual fee for this card.

Priceline Rewards Visa Card

While Priceline's bidding process can be a bit complex, everything about this rewards card is fairly simple. This card offers 5x points on all Priceline purchases and one point per dollar spent elsewhere. Points can then be redeemed for statement credits against any purchases, not just travel. New applicants receive 5,000 bonus points after making their first purchase, worth $50. Additionally, get 10% points back every time you redeem points for statement credits toward Priceline or travel purchases of $25 or more. There is no foreign transaction fee and no annual fee for this card.
