Ask the Readers: Do You Go to Concerts?

Editor's Note: Congratulations to Betty D, Kate, and Ang for winning this week's contest!

Almost everyone has been to at least one concert in their lives. Some people go to concerts regularly to see their favorite artists or bands. However, the price of tickets deters others from attending concerts on a regular basis.

Do you go to concerts? How often do you go? How do you save on tickets? What is the best concert you've ever been to?

Tell us whether or not you go to concerts and we'll enter you in a drawing to win a $20 Amazon Gift Card!

There are very few people who tour that I feel are worth the crazy price that they charge for the tickets so I only go every few years to artists that I really like.

I've seen a few good concerts over the years, some outdoor concerts featuring different kinds of bands, some indoors at theaters. I've always enjoyed them.

Go to shows all the time. It is the one item that I like to splurge on. I've seen close to 200 shows. As discussed in the comments section, ticket prices and fees are high nowadays; however, people don't buy albums anymore. Artists are forced to tour due to lack of revenue. On the other hand, Tickemaster fees are just plain exploitation.
