I agree with most of these, except the one about being late. I am frequently late for meetings at work, and there is nothing I can do about it (short of using personal leave to be available the entire day for a 20 minute meeting). If the meeting has started before I arrive, I quietly sign in and sit down without making a fuss. I would be greatly bothered if I had prepared comments and materials for a meeting that was cancelled (though we legally cannot cancel meetings without going out of compliance).
For heaven's sake, if you have asked a question, have the courtesy to listen to the answer. A conversation is not a contest to see who can talk the most.
When school is out for the summer, I have all 5 grandkids during the day while their parents work. We go through a lot of bubbles. I use the huge container with the spigot and fill it with bubble liquid. It is easy enough for even the youngest to refill her own bubble jar. I don't have to get up each time 5 kids need more bubbles!
A friend of mine recently reminded me that we had a talk when we were 11 yo about what we wanted to do when we grew up... Apparently I'm the only one she knows that actually did what I said I wanted at 11yo. Back then I told her that first I was going to be a dude rancher (I worked on several ranches in Arizona and Wyoming in my early to mid 20's) and then I'd be working with animals... I've been a technician at a Veterinary Hospital for 8 years before being a Veterinary Hospital Manager for the last 2...
RE the friend with the debit card problem. She should have been able to use a bank check to write herself a check for cash. Then she could have used cash for her expenses until she received her new debit card. Of course, she would have had to have enough cash in her checking account to do so. Also, just as a reminder, the protections on debit cards are not as robust as they are with credit cards. Debit cards should be taken out only when needed, stored carefully in an RFID blocked case. And remember, credit card balances can be paid off every month. I am 65 and have never/ever paid interest on a credit card. I have, however, received rather large cash back bonuses with my main credit card. Use the tools, but use them wisely.
You're a lawn care professional? And you see no sense in putting ammonia down? Ammonia is high in nitrogen, which is what they put in lawn fertilizer. People, this recipe came from a master gardener named Jerry Baker...I used it for many years and my lawn was the envy of the neighborhood. He also added flea and tick shampoo for dogs to this remedy for obvious reasons.
it seems the only things that's no loss of suction is Dyson's customer service!
However the vacume is marketed No Loss of suction, it if stops working that's a misleading ad campaign, it in fact loses suction. So did someone say Class action law suite?
Or because they have lousy customer service they still have full sucksion?
