"since occasionally the moon will shine very brightly into the room at night"
Damn you romantic moon!
FWIW, the goLITE also has an alarm mode. I set it to go off in the mornings so instead of waking up to annoying buzzard sound, I can wake up to simulated sun light. It sounds great in theory, but I have to admit the light doesn't wake me up every single time.
Another thing to check out is events at breweries and wineries. When I lived in Philadelphia, one of the breweries would regularly host talks on the city's beer history and serve free beer samples during the event.
I travel a lot as a hobby and one of the things I've been surprised with is that people don't even think about pre-millenium technology anymore. Before I go I photocopy the relevant pages from the guidebook (usually that's only about a dozen or so), leave the guide (or return it to the lender/library), and then throw out the pages after I've moved through a city/destination. Easy! ...And I don't get stuck carrying 200 pages of a book that I'm only going to use 10 pages as reference.

Yes, we have financial advisors: God and Dave Ramsey. The Bible talks about money more than any other topic. Dave Ramsey is showing us how to use the biblical advice and use it in our everyday life so we do not have a personal recession. Take control of your own finances! I don't have a financial advisor. At this point, I'm not making enough to do anything investing wise with it, except maybe saving or a Roth IRA, which I can do on my own. Plus, I'm wary of trusting someone else with my money who doesn't have a stake in it.
During a recent attempt at making our bedroom feel lighter and brighter, I took down the hideous striped curtains that were hanging in our south-facing window. My husband was peeved, since occasionally the moon will shine very brightly into the room at night. Other than that, though, having no curtains has been a blessing for me - the early morning sunlight helps me wake up long before I would if the room were darkened by curtains. Mind you, our climate is so mild that leaving the upper windows uncovered isn't such a big deal, although it might be tougher in warmer areas.
I would like to have a financial advisor but I haven't had luck finding one. I need help managing my massive student loan debt before I can think about investing and most advisors seem to be solely focused on investing, at least in my area.
Yes. I hired one to manage my finances after my dad passed away two years ago. She doesn't manage my day-to-day though only my IRA and stocks and stuff.
I cut up 100% cotton Ts as weed block in my flower garden. I cut them up and lay them down around my perennials and then mulch over them. They keep the weeds down and naturally decompose.
Not really - my husband and I met with one shortly after we got married, but our lives have been too up in the air (job changes, cross-country move) to do anything with the information he gave us. Now that we're a little more settled and looking for a house, we'll find a new one.
No I don't have a financial advisor since I don't have a lot of assests to manage. Also I like to do my own research about which investing/retirement options are best for me. I prefer to read financial planning books to pick options I like best instead of paying a high price for advice I might not use
I do not have a financial advisor, I take care of everything myself because I want to know where my money is and how it is doing on a daily basis. I think that the fact I am a natural save helps me in the area of being a good financial planner since I live within my means without even thinking about it.

We don't have a financial advisor, I do plenty of research on everything my own.

I don't have one. I think I'm afraid of being ripped off.

No. I don't particularly need to pay someone to tell me to finish paying off my debt.

I've never heard of Charming Charlie, but the OCD-like color categorization sounds like it would make shopping really fun. :)

No, I don't have a financial advisor unless you count personal finance blogs.

Nope, none here.

I don't have a financial advisor. In my experience they are not worth it and cut into your profits. Use the internet to research and you'll be fine!
