Comment below is not the case with Two Men and A Truck. I know as I personally work for one of their franchises and we offer 100% Replacement Coverage should any damage occur! That's what makes us the "Movers Who Care."
I am a Work at home mom and I LOVE it. I work for a direct sales company that keeps things very simple and gives much better commissions (45%!!) than Avon!
I am an independent consultant for Paparazzi Accessories. Everything is $5 and the jewelry is Lead and Nickel Free. Awesome part is you can do most of your parties through Face book. Little to no prep. Contact me if you are interested, or if you just want to host a party and earn FREE jewelry :)
Flea market is right, even if you manage to get them a discount they leave and then come back on a Sunday to try and haggle some more... I'm done, if you don't like it your not my customer, people would be surprised at how few companies these days pay incentive pay for sales anymore, it's just not worth the hassle to put up with these types.
I use several money saving apps when shopping for groceries where I can earn cash like saving star or ibotta. When shopping I use coupons or shopular which will sometimes have coupons for additional savings
My favorite money saving tip is to do your research! Search online for the best price, look for coupons or ebates.com type rebates and read reviews to make sure this product is worth your time and money. Plus -- always keep your receipts! I will absolutely return something that disappoints me in any way.
Debt can be a curse that is hard to shift. Overdrafts are a sneaky way of getting into spiralling debt. I guess the key message is dont be afraid to deal with the problem. Once you start to tackle debt (overdraft in this case), you will feel better and find that it can work for you.
I built up a huge amount of debt when I set up my company, it took years for me to focus on it, once I did it was a huge pressure release. I guess the biggest challenge is understanding and calculating the true amount of debt and best debt reduction plan.
Calculating overdraft costs is tricky, the charges can dissapear amongst your other bills and are not always clear. Make sure you take the time to calculate your overdraft rates properly as they can often be higher than the rates you could get on a personal loan (which in turn could be used to pay off the overdraft).
IHOP (may vary by region) Seniors BOGO - Buy one entre from regular menu and two beverages and get a second entre of equal or lesser value free before 6 PM weekdays
This game is definitely worth the money you pay for it. I play it with my kids to teach them the importance of saving investment and not buying brand new cars or luxury items they don't really need to be happy in life.
I see Amazons deals every day. You really need to know your prices before accepting some of these deals. I have done well with some things. I bought Bras as well as luggage. among other things. Some beauty items are better priced than Walmart. Deals change all the time though. it may be a good price one day but not all the time. I have Prime too, which I feel is good for free postage. I never pay postage. It's worth it to me over a year to pay for this. Postage is expensive.
My tip is: Never go to the grocery store hungry or unprepared. Make sure you eat before going grocery shopping or you will buy things you won't have time to eat before they go bad. Be prepared. Have your list with you. If you are like me and forget to bring your list do what I did. Download an app to keep your lists in your phone, like Got Milk for groceries (it also tells you all the specials grocery stores in your area have) or Google Keep for EVERYTHING. You always have your phone with you, so you will never lose your list.
This article reminded me of my grandparents and how they lived. They didn't have cell phones and the technology that we did. They saved for what they wanted to buy and were able to afford the big stuff like newer cars and a modest house without going into debt like so many people do now. My grandparents mostly visited family on their vacations and took road trips to Quebec (where my grandfather's family was from) and down the East Coast. My grandmother was Italian (born in Italy) and her family came here when she was a baby. Because they were immigrants, she learned a lot of frugal things and most of the time she cooked at home (and made the best Italian food!). Restaurants were for special occasions and so were amusement parks, but we had tons of fun when we did go!
Made a personal commitment to contribute 16% to a ROTH at 37yrs old to try and catch up for all the years I failed to contribute or cashed out previous 401k's like a fool for selfish reasons.
I set up alerts to notify me when my account hits a certain balance and I also check it daily. Not only do these habits help eliminate overdraft fees, but they also can provide early warning of identity theft.
Being worked in for a bank, I can assure that these tips are the best. Especially the best method is to keep track of the spending and keep some money in the account.
Overdraft charges can really become huge and it would lead to next step of the tip, asking to get it waived.
Try to get it off the bills, if it happens then ask for a refund. Bang on.

My father always told me, "Buy quality, but buy it on sale."
So much confusion out there ... thanks for encouraging us to question long held edicts!
Upcycle and recycle stuff for art and other adventures!
More prosaically, use a clothesline instead of the dryer.

I like that, particularly as a means of detecting any fraud. Thanks for the tip.
