Apple updated its Mac Pro lineup today. The new base model starts at $2,999 and receives a bump to an Intel Xeon E5 6-core processor (up from four cores), two AMD FirePro D500 3GB video cards (up from two D300 2GB GPUs), and 16GB of RAM (up from 12GB). That's more or less $1,000 under Apple's previous pricing on this configuration. (For further comparison, we recently listed a refurb with these specs for $400 more.) It's available today.



An upgraded model has also been announced for $3,999, but it's currently unavailable for purchase. It steps up to an Intel Xeon E5 8-core processor and dual AMD FirePro D700 6GB GPUs.

Walmart offers the Faded Glory Men's Light Bubble Jacket in Red Rover or Daylily Orange from $7.97. Opt for in-store pickup to dodge the $5.99 shipping charge. That's $4 off list, tied with our mention from a month ago, and the lowest price we could find. It's available in sizes S to XL, although not in all size/color combinations.

Walmart offers the IronKids Inspiration 150 Swing Set, model no. 8100, for $149 with free shipping. That's the lowest total price we could find by $53. It features a UV sunshade, two swings, a slide, monkey bar, and adjustable misting system.

Walmart offers the AcuRite Galileo Thermometer with Glass Globe Barometer, model no. 00749WB, for $12.88. Opt for in-store pickup to avoid the $5.99 shipping charge. That's the lowest total price we could find by $11, although we saw it for a buck less last April. This device uses enclosed balls of colored liquid that expand and contract with heat to measure temperature and barometric pressure.

Walmart offers the Stansport Modular Organizer Bag in Black, model no. 1262-20, for $4.23. (With orders of $25 or more, Amazon charges the same with free shipping for Prime members.) Choose in-store pickup to avoid the $5.99 shipping fee. That's the lowest total price we could find by $12. It measures 6" x 4" x 1.75" and features rear web straps for modular attachment and a webbing loop with "D" ring on top for extra accessories.
