I enjoy seeing all the beautiful holiday decorations and lights. I also really look forward to making and/or being given all of the special foods that are usually only prepared at the holidays. Some of my favorites are fruit cake, oreo truffles and sweet potato casserole.
A different thing to do with the plastic milk bottle - Get a piece of thin cord long enough to go between two upright posts or trees (whatever is available). Make two holes in the bottle opposite each other and thread the cord through the holes. Make sure the bottle naturally hangs the right way up. Tie the ends of the cord to the uprights. Now put two or three treats in the bottle so your dog has to turn the bottle on the cord in order to get the treats. Keeps them amused for ages but make sure you have some spare bottles because if yours are like mine they'll end up chewing the bottle neck.
Well written and great perspective! Done #1&2, but you can recover from these. #5 is absolutely insidious! Career runways are getting shorter every day. You need a plan to earn income away from your corporate employer to be safe and retire happy and enjoy a lengthening life expectancy. Great stuff!
Cash means cash, I would imagine—bills and/or coins tendered in payment. Why the aversion? Do you feel the need to have your entire bank balance available to you everywhere you go, or something?
Every morning and every night, my toddlers race to turn on and off the Christmas tree. I also love doing the advent calendar with them. I can't wait until, in a year or two, we can talk about how Christmas is about sharing, being kind to one another, and volunteering.
As far as meat goes, I think it is important to note that food safety is key with these products, and there are many regulations to keep the product safe. The meat is frozen, however, a lot of meat you purchase at grocery stores has been frozen and they simply thaw it out before putting it on display. The cows live much happier lives than grocery "grass fed" beef, and have a healthier proportion of b-vitamins. I would say never buy grocery store meat because you have no clue what conditions those animals have been raised in, and it is actually more of a risk to your health than local meat.

funny where God leads us when we are searching for answers. Praying for a copy, thank you for the chance. :)
Honestly the only thing I enjoy about the holidays is the joy on the faces of the children all caught up in the holiday magic.
I enjoy getting to see my whole family! I also love the spirit of the holidays. There are so many goodies and community events to attend.

You lose 80% of your heat thru your head. Put on a hat. Everyone slept or used one in the early 1900s. The difference is unbelievable.
I enjoy seeing all the holiday decor everywhere and the illuminations.
