I live in St Paul MN and all of the surrounding libraries have the 3M Cloud Library nearly 92,000 ebooks that I can checkout from my phone or tablet. Haven't had to buy a book in years and don't even have to go to the library.
OMG, the tape trick worked for my Brother LC75 & LC71 cartridges. took some time to cut tape to perfect size, but it worked!!! Now I taped all the colors and it showed full levels. Now I will but ink when I am totally out. THANKS a bunch!!
I received two checks when I hit a deer. One for the mechanical repairs and the other for the cosmetic repairs. I repaired the mechanical damage of course, but the cosmetic damage was nothing more than a scratch and a couple very small dents. I own the car outright, so I decided to keep the money from the near $1,000 estimate and use that to invest in myself so that I can eventually make that money back along with profit that I will then maybe use to fix my car.
I've started scheduling "me time" recently. My boyfriend (we live together) has scheduled time on Tuesdays where he plays video games online with a group of friends, so while he does that I've been taking myself to discount Tuesdays at the local movie theater! I've been reading books that are being made into movies, and then going to see the movies the Tuesday after I finish each book.
As a full-time RVer, I don't 'schedule " " me" time, but I certainly take advantage of it when it happens. and do what I want during that time. We all need a break from our routine.
My "me" time is a monthly get together I have with my best friend. We hang out the last Wednesday of the month. Because it's scheduled I know we'll do it. Unfortunately that's the only way it works.
Yes and No. Although I do not schedule time for myself, there are tasks that I must do everyday that I structure to be as pleasant as possible. For example, I love walking my dogs in the morning; there are a variety of routes we can take that are lovely and tranquil. My other great pleasure is riding metro to work; each way I have 45 minute of uninterrupted time to read, and I use if for non work-related reading!
Definitely need my "me" time! For me, it's usually a one-hour crossfit workout, a couple of times a week. It's one of the few times that is solely dedicated to me, and allows me to disconnect from all the other stresses in my life.
I make sure to schedule me time every day! I take care of an Elderly parent and disabled sister, so this can be draining-but I make sure to take me time for my health!
Interesting look here. I like a lot of people wondered what direction Apple would head in after Steve Job's passing. It's good seeing spelled out how they're doing. I can't wait to see the iWatch, though it's going to need to be a lot cheaper before I can get my hands on one!
I think the one who did the asking out should be the one who pays - however, if a woman asks a man out and he offers to pay, then he gets extra points in my book :)
As for missing game pieces, call the manufacturer's 800 number and see what their policy is. I was able to get a couple Scrabble pieces for two separate sets that way free from very friendly customer service reps and we were good to go.
I keep all my tax documents in an accordion binder for the current year, as well as any medical expenses in case I need to claim them, and pay stubs in case they are needed, in different sections. This way it is all in one place so I can take the binder to my accountant and they can easily find what they need as well. At the end of tax season, I move the prepared taxes to a "permanent" file in my file drawer, and destroy documents I don't need anymore, such as the previous years pay stubs. I plan to print this page to keep in my temporary binder for a check list now that I'm not filing my own taxes. I'm a full time working mom with a small business that I work from in home as well, so I've learned that staying organized makes things run faster and smoother.
I am pleasantly surprised by the number of people who responded with "who asks, pays."
I think this is the correct response, and not just in dating situations. If you ask a co-worker out for a drink at the Monkey Bar, then you pay for the first round (The Monkey Bar is expensive!) and you let the other person know you are paying for the first round because you invited. This gives them the opportunity to decline another round if they can't afford it or are disinclined for whatever reason. Or pay for a round or split the bill going forward.
Same with dating. You ask, you choose venue and activity, you pay.
