Well savings on our income is possible with several ways. One thing to take care is the miscellaneous expenses which we incur outside which is a total waste. Thanks for your posts.
Thank you for mentioning Blue Planet Surf as a good option to rent surfboards and Stand Up Paddle boards outside of Waikiki to get the best rental boards at a better price! We also give a full credit of rental fees up to $250 towards the purchase of a new Surfboard or SUP.
Another money saving tip: We offer free SUP Clinics where we give a free introduction to the sport and let customers that are interested in buying a Stand Up Paddleboard demo our fleet of over 50 rental boards. For more information on our Free SUP Clinics: https://blueplanetsurf.com/pages/free-demo-clinic
For more advanced paddlers we have a SUP training group that meets every Wednesday afternoon where we welcome paddlers from all over the world to join us. Aloha, Robert Stehlik, owner
Buy your own mobile phone, preferably a factory unlocked device. Then use it with any provider here or abroad. Keep it in good condition then sell it for cash when you want to upgrade.
My goal is to continue building my emergency fund, something I've only been able to prioritize over the past few months. My contribution is modest, but every dollar counts!
Craig's list ad asking for art models for photography. He referred to the website of a well established photographer and even posted one of that artist's photos on the craigs list site. When prospective model bites, he asks for them to send close up photos " of your eyes, face, belly, thighs hands, feet, breasts, bottom and vagina". Right. I'll get right on that.
My neighbor ( owns half duplex, I own the other half ) bought very high and foreclosed a few years later. My value tanked and now I'm told he did a Title V so ethic test before he walked away. We share well and septic....so now I'm stuck with a home that I can't sell and owe twice what it's "worth." The idiot now rents a much nicer house -no skin off his ignorant nose.
There are times when the computers are down so you can't use cards or chips to process your purchase, if you have cash however in most cases you can still make the purchase and be on your way.
One time as a Truck driver I purchased fuel
then after fueling up as I went to pay the pay the computers went down, fortunately I had enough cash to pay for the fuel and go on my way. on my return trip I stopped at that same truck stop to eat about 9 hours later, the computers were still down
and I say two drivers who fueled when I had fueled who were still stuck waiting,
modern technology can be a real bummer
unless you can manually bypass it and do things the old conventional way, too many
merchants have burned the old bridges behind them and lose business during times that computers are down or during a power outage.
My main goal is to make enough money from scholarships and part-time work to pay for my university and to save a little bit for the future. I am working right now and found out I won a scholarship recently, so now I just need to add a few more hours to what I'm doing. Once I'm done with school, I hope to work to save enough to really fund retirement and to have money for a home down payment.
A great article extolling the virtues of the library but I have to take issue with your use of the word, 'rentals'. The word 'rentals' implies that borrowing books from the library has a cost. Library books are not 'rented' they are loaned. For free.
really trying to repair my credit...tiny things have hurt me and mostly having no credit history (i.e. no credit cards at all) has hurt me, who knew?! so i'm trying to get it up to 800 but i'm at 700 now. realy trying to get my act together in 2016.
Amazing work compiling this list! I've seen that some of these websites have browser extensions that will automatically reward you as you shop, without having to be initially redirected through the website. Most of them will give you a reward for installing them into your browser also. Do you have any experience or feedback about the reliability of using these extensions? I am unfamiliar with what's involved with the cookie tracking/navigation process, but my main question would be if a user can claim multiple rewards from more than one website by installing all of these extensions. I currently have the Swagbucks, Mypoints and Ebotta browser extensions installed and I am thinking about experimenting with a transaction. They all individually notify me when I visit a supported website and allow me to click on the option to activate the savings. I would just hate for this to counteract and wind up with no reward at all. Thanks in advance for the feedback! If this does work effectively then I hope this turns into a good strategy to help others!
Saving extra money for retirement. Hope to purchase my grave and headstone.

What if a twelve year old wants money on swag bucks? Does the parent have to put this on their taxes?
I want to increase my retirement savings and budget for a car.
I am still saving and investing with regular allotments that make setting aside money almost painless. If I don't see it, I won't spend it!
