I would love a gift certificate for a massage. Nothing like a great massage at the end of the year to help relieve some of that stress. Or I would even enjoy a handmade coupon from a friend or family member to spend the day with them - go out to lunch, get coffee, see a movie, anything along those lines. People get so busy throughout the year, it's nice to make sure you spend time with them and catch up once in a while. :)
I would love to receive a tablet--an iPad, a Nexus 7, or even a Kindle Fire. But I will be happy with money from my parents, which we will put in our savings account!
Ahh yes, this is bringing me back to the days of my college psych classes. Another major factor I feel blinds people when it comes to their finances is confirmation bias. Sometimes people just don't want to admit they can't afford certain things and will just look for someone to tell them that they can afford it or they deserve it. As much as people need to monitor themselves when it comes to finances it's important for friends to keep an eye on them as well and don't feed into this debilitating bias.
I would love to receive a food processor. I am doing so much more cooking than I used to do. And I am preparing meals in batches for the freezer so that we are less tempted to eat out when we get busy or when "there's nothing in the house" to eat. A food processor would make short work of the large-scale chopping of onions, carrots, etc. I'm also trying out new dishes, and many interesting recipes call for some prep in a food processor. I've been watching sales, but haven't pulled the trigger to buy one myself. It's an expensive item for a gift, but I can dream.
What I want more than anything is a second bathroom! We ran out of money before finishing the second floor of our house, so the upstairs bathroom has plumbing and electricity run to it...but otherwise is just an empty room. I've asked my husband to simply install the tile floor. Then we can work on adding the sink and toilet!
hey im a mechanic, and its always best to let your engine warm up before driving as in cold weather the oil thickens up at the bottom of the engine so letting it run 5-10 mins on idle will save you a new engine in the cold weather.

This article show me see Horizon in a new light. But, to be honest, the only reason I buy organic milk is because it lasts so much longer!
A peaceful, fun-filled holiday season!

That's a great idea! We will look into doing something like that in the future. :)
