I know, it's shocking that it works. I spoke to my boss about it once, and said, why don't you just put it down at £x,00.00, why all the .99s all the time? And he told me that people just don't round up. They genuinely think it's that much cheaper. And the maddest thing is it STILL works even now.
BTW Julie, I didn't know about the 4's and 7's, I always wondered why they didn't make those 9's too, so thanks

An interesting look at why we take on credit card debt. Obviously, identifying these obstacles is just the first step. How can we use these same triggers to help motivate people to get out of debt?
I agree that this industry has needed to be refined. So many businesses are having a hard enough time getting started as it is without the trouble of dealing with services that are way to high priced. Fee Fighters seems like they are making a legitimate effort to make the right moves in the industry. I believe as a result, they will acquire more business through their reputable actions
I have a different problem...I drive a Toyota Landcruiser and live where we get negative 35-40. I have a garage and no problems with the windshield even in sleet or snow. However, on foggy mornings I can drive 2 miles and have to pull over to scrape the ice off my windshield. This is a huge problem. Just getting to work within 7 miles, I stop 2 to 3 times to scrape just to see the road. Inside no problem, outside it's like I've left it out all night and didn't scrape to drive.
Great post. I like almost all of these ideas, however, I don't know how loved I would feel if someone gave me light bulbs for a Christmas pesent, or any other special occasion for that matter! Still - Great ideas - especially the speciality cooking items. I really like that!
