BlogStash.com is a collection of my own personal experience and struggle of the past 11 years. I arrived in the US in September of 2002 as a political refugee from Iran (Persia).

The cultural shock took me by surprise, specially the way personal finance works here. In my quest to carve out a living for myself in my new home, I worked in many different jobs, both offline and online.

And in 2009, I started BlogStash.com to share my experience and knowledge with others. This is a personal finance blog like no others.

I have no degree in business or finance, but I know how to speak the langauge of middle and working class.
