I’ve been passionate about money for as long as I can remember. I could honestly talk or write about it all day long. Between my full-time career as an architect, and my family at home, there is no shortage of financial topics to cover!Growing up in Poland during the end of the Cold War (and visiting many times since), I got to witness a lot of frugal money habits. To this day, my parents and grandparents continue to focus on limited consumption, savings, spending with cash, and incredible creativity in how to make money last.I started to blog in 2009 when I noticed that I was consistently writing personal finance articles for other websites. I was not more than three years out of school, moving forward quickly in my career, and getting ready for marriage and family life. But things were not always so great–my wife was laid off twice since we graduated college, I was watching my industry and the real estate market fall apart, and money suddenly became the topic of choice in my social circles. I realized that I could make a difference with my new-found hobby and help people manage their money better.Today, Fiscal Fizzle is much more than a hobby. I’m immersed in it on a daily basis, but I’ve also realized that learning how to handle money is a life-long experience. I’d love to teach you what I’ve learned, and learn from you in return.
