In 2012 I am most looking forward to paying cash for our family vacation, Paying our daughters university bill in-full for the whole year, building our savings back up by being even more frugal, and hopefully having my daughters doctors find the right course of treatment for her to feel much better so that she can continue to have a wonderful university experience! Also, I would LOVE for there to be found a cure for Type 1 diabetes, which my son has, which is an auto-immune disease, totally different than Type 2. ~ Melinda

I will be debt free in 2012!! Woo-hoo! I just finished paying off my student loan, and December 30th will mark my last credit card payment to bring the balance down to ZERO. I really trimmed the fat off my budget this year, and it paid off big time. My next goal is to boost my savings to be able buy a house in 2013.

Best advice I can offer: get an internship before you graduate. It could potentially turn into a job (and at the very least will give you some more experience on your resume, which never hurts)!

My boyfriend and I are going away for a 5 day vacation to Sanibel Island in the middle of February, when Ohio will likely be buried under ice and snow. I loathe winter, so this is going to be a much-needed getaway! By the time we get back, it will only be a month before the trees begin to bud and crocuses poke up through the snow. :-)
