Thanks for the detailed list! But just a heads up it's important to pick a reputable site... I've been burned at a few cashback portals by not receiving my cashback. I currently use moocashback to see the cashback percentage offered at the various cashback portals (e.g. ebates, mrrebates, etc.) for the online store i'm interested in. The good part is they only list cashback portals based on a solid Better Business Bureau rating.
I am learning to write a book. I want to ensure that I have passed all the wisdom I have that my kids may find helpful in life, so I am writing a book that I will give each a copy. It will have everything from financial advice to how to conduct yourself to have a joyous life.
I would love to be able to afford acting classes and learn to play the piano. As a 59-year old disabled woman surviving on Social Security Disability my desires seem limited to me right now.
Good list! A few other frugal and easy household upgrades are to replace corroded shower heads with new ones, repaint the mailbox (especially if near the front door) and put a fresh coat of paint on curbside house numbers.
Well if you do fail this series will be great proof how bad the economy is, how useless degrees/education are, how screwed us younger people are, and how it is all about who you know to get work now-a-days (your sister finding a job opp for you).
There are so many skills I'd like to learn, I can't list them all! Right now, I really would like to learn all about cooking. I envy people who can cook from scratch.
There is a national academic paper mill scam listed on "Services", Category "Writing, Editing, Trans". The same ads stating they will write original academic papers, for any subject. They will write your Thesis or Dissertation. They'll even take an online course for you. They claim the papers are all original when in fact they are plagiarized papers bought off Google and resold to university students. These fraudulent ads (the same ads) are posted in every single city and town throughout the United States. They have "fixed" their ads where everything is automated and their ads can't be flagged. They have literally 40-60 ads listed in every city and town in the U.S. It's all automated. They have reported repeatedly to C.L. Mgmt who has done nothing to rid C.L. of these predators who are making a fortune off students. The few legitimate ads among all these fraudulent ads are now cast in a bad light. Students, especial ESL students are being expelled from universities all over the country. Still, no one does anything to ban these ads from being posted.
I avoid the pink tax by using my husband's razor. It's black, but replaceable blades are sharp and do the job just fine. He does the car maintenance of tire pressure, oil change, etc. every couple months I have him get out his shears and trim my locks. Uses the proper tools and he is very meticulous ensuring my hair is neatly trimmed. Saves me hundreds a year and my hubby loves my long locks, so he won't get scissor happy like they do at the salon and hack off eight inches when I tell him just get the splits and keep the ends even. Usually 1/2" or less and there is no pile of hair the size of a small animal on the floor to leave me in tears like the salon.
My favorite trick is the absolute 3 concept... that is picking any number, double the number, add 9 to the number, subtract 3 from the answer, again divide the answer by 2 and subtract the number you picked from the last answer and exactly the answer will be 3... that is fantastic.
Another pink tax that has irked me for years is the difference at the dry cleaners between men's shirts and women's blouses and not all women's blouses are fancy I can assure you.
I would love to know more about computers, be able to cook like my grandmother and able to do more crafts and have more ideas on how to do them with my kids
My kid was vaccinated against the chickenpox. I never received the vaccination as a kid. Guess who got the chickenpox? Guess who had to miss school for two weeks. Correct... me! The only reason why it appears that vaccines are a scam is because most have been vaccinated from these classic diseases in developed countries like the United States.
I would love to learn to bake better.

This was my first full summer of having a reliable budget. I was shocked at how much the season impacted my budget - and not in a good way!

The new skill I would like to learn is photography.
I want to learn sewing.
One I want to continue learning and practicing is Spanish. But a completely new skill I would like to learn is to paint
ESTY and iCraft are the two places where I personally sell my Art & Crafts related stuff.
The other websites that has been mentioned here are pretty new to me. Will give them a try.
Thanks for sharing the top 5 list.

It's not 'renting', it's 'borrowing'. A rather important point, don't you think?

I want to learn to dance. It's something I've never been able to do well and have to sit out at weddings and other occasions.
Fantastic ideas . I loved the facts ! Does anyone know where I could get ahold of a template TX TDLR 043AB version to use ?

I'm learning how to run and manage a small business!

Income diversification is just as important with investments as well. It never hurts to diversify! Great advice, indeed!

Eg: 25
25 by 2 = 50
50+9= 59
59-3= 56
56/2= 28
28-25 =3

I want to be fluent in a foreign language.
