I try not to eat out just because I am worried about food poisoning and people not handling the food properly but I do eat out for social situations and events, so maybe every couple of weeks or if I am desperate I will eat fast food.
we trusted a realtor and now we are having a terrible time getting our earnest money back from the title company. the owner described the property as two acres and a month later we found out the truth about it only being .60 acres with a road down the middle of the property. they kept pushing us to buy buy buy and now we know why. they were asking $9500 for the two acres and wanted us to pay $8500 for .60 acres. the realtor told us to put down $4250 down to show good faith to the owner. now it is being held because we don't want it. the owner on july 1 was supposed to meet my husband in the title office but he cancelled because he had a previous appt. that he forgot all about. he broke the contract first. we did not. we were waiting for the survey that she had promised us for almost a month and never received. ANY HELP OUT THERE FOR THIS?
Coupons! Both Target and CVS used to send out coupons for a $25 gift card if you transferred your prescription to their pharmacy. They would sell for about $10 and cost one stamp to ship.
Just over a year ago, I started a new full-time job. In the 30 years before that, I'd been laid off twice (always the last group of people to go), and was self-employed for the last 13 years. I didn't choose to be self-employed--it was either that or unemployed. Although I made pretty good money, I'm thrilled to have a full-time job again. I get paid vacation and holidays, benefits and the best part, a regular paycheck. I don't miss the old job at all!
I'm INSANELY guilty of #4. I know I could save so much money by limiting the amount of take out I eat over the weekend but I always feel obligated to "treat" myself for the weekend. I'm slowly getting there though :)
My bf pays me $200 in rent, I am paying on my mortgage I make about 600 more a month than him but he doesn't attribute to any other bills. I buy groceries and take care of all household maintenance and chores & cooking. I feel very used by this misguided person who doesn't add to the relationship. I have given him notice.
We do not eat out too often, I would say about once a month or even every other month. Having celiac disease, I have to be careful where I go so I do not get sick.
I had a similar situation trying to buy a car. I need a car badly and because my income is low I need it to be cheap,. Every day without à car means I am losing lots of potential income. So I was acting out of desperation and found the "perfect deal". Since I had not done this before I did not see any red flags at first. The lady said she was selling so quick and cheap because her husband died a month ago from a heart attack and she was moving out of state to be close to her brother. I was even feeling sad for her and told her I was sorry for her loss and even shared a bit of my story. We had a few emails back and forth and my first red flag was that she would never use my name nor reply to certain things I would say. There were also phrases such as," as I said before I will pay to have the car shipped to you". She had never said that before, nor did that make sense to me. She said she was using EBay Motors and she told me they would send me an email explaining what I needed to do next. The flow of things just did not feel natural to me so I googled EBay Motors and found that they never send emails. It was a scam. I was sad that I had been dupped but I felt lucky I did not send the money.
My mom made salmon salad in the summer with salmon(skin and bones removed and drained), tomato wedges, one head of iceberg (chopped), green onion(chopped), miracle whip thinned out with a little milk, salt and pepper . Mix it all together for a refreshing lunch or dinner. Lettuce wilts if left overnight and it gets soupy. This is a great way to use salmon.
Here's a new one. I responded to an ad where the seller had an antique dresser for FREE. Can't pass that up, right?? I sent an email asking for the dimensions. The response was "Give me your phone number....." I reread the ad which stated they wanted a phone number for communication, so I replied via email "Oops, sorry" and then gave my phone number. I went to my phone expecting to receive a call or text shortly but I didn't. Instead I received another email that said "If you agree i can send you a verification code. When you send the code to me then i will give you my full address.all of this is for our safety......" To this I replied that I appreciated their precautions but to not give me their address yet because I wasn't sure if I even wanted the dresser. Again I asked for the dimensions. I then received an email response "....Give me your phone number......" What?? I already did. But being the nice person I am I emailed my phone number again. To which I got another email "If you agree i can send you a verification code. When you send the code to me then i will give you my full address.all of this is for our safety......" This is an exact duplicate of the message I previously got. Red flags were going up in my mind by this point. I quick Googled Craigslist Verification Code and found some emails warning of scams but not something quite like this. Anyway, I emailed back and I said I was no longer interested. No response by email. Never did get a call or text via cell phone which supposedly was their choice of communication method. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Just tell them you had guest that just left and you found bed bugs and can not get rid of them. Ask if they know how to rid of them.
We go to a restaurant about once a month but we do order pizza delivery about once every other week.

Probably once a week.

We dine out about once every 3-4 months, but we do take out about once a month.
Probably dine out during birthdays, special occassions and on vacation trips.
Get over yourself. They swarm to our trash bins and steal what we don't give them, rat-like birds. A little bread from the kitchen won't hurt them.

Doctors are educated and ethical. Real estate agents are greedy and only require a high school degree.

Thats some great advice, I already do most of them. Everyone should learn how to stretch a penny.

I dine out way too often, probably about once every day or every other day. Sometimes if I'm busy and can't cook then twice a day.

The DVDs is accurate but the tv won't sync. Suggestions? I'm using 6 from Kenya.
Thanks for your help?
