After work, if I'm feeling stressed with anxious energy, I like to roll out my yoga mat and just do some stretches. If I get home and I'm feeling stressed but under the weather, I'll turn on my heated mattress pad to a high setting, take off my shoes and crawl under the covers for 30 minutes with my eyes closed.
My family and I travel at least twice a year and I loved all of your suggestions. Two ideas that I have never thought about is keeping a copy of our passports in our email and also the money belt!
I have (2) children who will be under the age of 19 when I retire at 62. You mentioned that a child can get between 150% and 180% of your full retirement benefit.
Does that mean I use 66.8 or 62 because I am looking to retire early? Does their mother receive any benefit?
Every day I set aside some time in the evening to unwind. My favorite thing to do is read. I check out books from my local library to save money on this costly hobby. I average about one book per week. I also make sure to relieve daily stress by exercising five days a week - I love the Esmonde Technique by Classical Stretch.
I felt quite a bit of stress recently when my daughter wed. I made sure to allow time each day for some reading and for my exercise routine.
My favorite way to relax is a glass of wine and a nice bubble bath while listening to my iTunes playlist. I try to do this at least once a week or when I feel really overwhelmed from a stressful day with work.
The most relaxing spot for me is the beach during the late afternoon when there is a nice ocean breeze. It gets quieter as most people head home for the day. That is my favorite place to relax. Unfortunately I don't live near a beach, so I usually just relax with the tv or a book
What about romance novels. And they have e no front cover they were ripped off. The book is brand new straight out of the store but beings they couldn't. sell it all the covers were ripped off. But the book itself is in excellent condition, with title and the author on the side and pages never toched beside by my very own hands.
My favorite way to relax is grabbing a cocktail with friends. I like to relax after work. I'm overwhelmed every weekday on my commute and at work. I unwind when I get home.
I love meditating and doing yoga to relax, preferably in the mornings. The last time I had an exam, a few weeks ago, I got pretty anxious and meditating helps me to relax and feel more centered.
I enjoy so many things since retiring. Not being under the pressure of someone's goals other than my own is in itself relaxing. During the Holidays I enjoy watching some good movies with a cup of tea maybe with the fireplace lit and if possible with friends and family. Whenever I am overwhelmed, I close my eyes, take a deep breath and meditate for at least 1-5 minutes. That usually is enough.
1. Pack a cheap fan either a standard plug in fan or a small USB fan that plugs into a USB port or a phone or computer. It does not need to be super powerful it just needs to move air. However, a stronger fan does help speed drying time. If you use a USB type fan attach the fan to a powerbank battery. Now you have the needed circulation for drying.
2. Place your wet clothing in a dry bath towel and twist the towel to help remove water. Next remove everything from the closet and hang your clothing items from the hangers and closet rod. Be sure you leave a little space between each article of clothing.
3. Grab that little hair dryer that nearly every hotel provides, turn it on and set it in the bottom of the closet. Angle the blower to point the heated air in a slightly upright position. You don't want it pointed directly at your clothing or any surface as it will get overly hot. Also make sure the input of the dryer is not obstructed there needs to be adequate airflow or the dryer will overheat and shut down. (You may need an extension cord so make sure to pack a small one for your trip.) Turn on the dryer and shut the door and let your fancy new dryer work away. In no time the closet will heat up like a dryer and the air from the fan will circulate the warm air around in the closet. The best part is many of the things you dry can remain in the closet on the hangers. No laundry to fold. :)
This is the best dryer hack available for those wanting to wash their own clothing and do not want to wait a long time for them to dry.

My thoughts exactly. Let's just post everything on the internet - that way no one will find out our little secrets (sarcasm here).

Going for a walk if I'm overwhelmed at work usually helps. At home, I prefer to read, particularly something less serious.
My favorite way to relax is reading a good book book curled up with one of my cats with a cup of iced coffee. It's nirvana!
Reading a good book and magazines is one way that I relax!
