I can do more for less at the grocery store. I save and use coupons, trade coupons and watch for super sales and stock up. I also follow blogs and enter sweepstakes to win items that I can't afford to purchase.
How to do more with less? Easy! I post a message on my social networks about the party I will host on my house, and all my friends know about it and know they’re invited to! That way I don’t have to call everyone anymore! :D
You could consider Quinoa a money-saver, because it's a complete protein and a good source of calcium and iron, yet cheaper than most animal sources of protein and minerals.
Of course, as with many food items, the question of whether it will save you money depends on how you use it.
I believe in "leftovers." The value of discarded items, repurposing food scraps, and finding simple pleasures in everyday occurences. Standing in line is my opportunity to meditate and plan.
I find doing more with less is more of a lifestyle rather than a credo. If you never use it, either toss it, recycle it, or it make it available to a worthy individual or cause. Believe me, life without clutter makes each day feel like a renewal, instead of a prison of our own foolish acquisitions!
One way we do more with less is with leftovers. Especially during Thanksgiving time. An example would be using ham for lunch sandwiches and using the leftover turkey for quesadillas or my favorite turkey and tortilla soup!
Do more with less by organizing a Holiday gift exchange that involves buying only one present within a given circle of friends/family/folks that you would normally gift individually (i.e. you choose a name within the group, and give that single person a present). It'll definitely save you time and money, and ideally will result in more satisfaction on both ends. And let the giftee suggest something that they'd really appreciate or get a gift card to their favorite store.
The less clutter in my office, the easier it is to find and organize things. The less money I have, the more thought I have to give too what I purchase. Hence, the less you have, the better you will do in life.
I have been scammed by this same Reverend Relga guy and I have to admit I have been an absolute idiot. I lost 500 pounds to this guy or whoever he is. I am student in a foreign country, guess its a lesson for me BIG TIME. Welcome to the big bad world, I guess. Hope somebody gets this gang of thieves.
"It doesn't have that same sticky texture, but its slightly sweet, nutty taste and the little bit of crunch it provides will only add to your rice dishes."
I used to think brown rice was crunchy. It turned out I was undercooking it. Try using a full 2:1 ratio of water:brown rice, and cooking on a low flame for 45 min or until the water is absorbed and the grains have split open. Then turn off the flame and leave covered for 15 min to steam and become nice and fluffy. I think you will find your brown rice much more enjoyable this way, as well as more digestible. And kids will accept it much more readily without all that heavy chewing.
I teach financial literacy classes for high school students. I initiated the class four years ago. From this experience, I started a blog (www.krantcents.com) to help spread the word. My students and their families now have access to financial literacy. It is particularly helpful in this community that I have a translation button.
I do more with less at dinner time. I can cook for 5 people, with not many ingredients. Everyone is full. I also use a lot of coupons. That saves me so much money every week. I can get $200 worth of groceries for about $125.
I used to make a huge meal with lots of food for my family every night and most of it was thrown away. Now i make more meals with the same amount of food and a lot less waste
I've still got a problem. I don't know what I want in life, because so much of the universe/multiverse/reality/existance is composed of things which I do not understand and I'm not aware of. What I really want is to know these things so I can make an informed decision, but I don't know. And I am not sure if we can.
I was thinking of increasing my self confidence. That's great, but then is buiding the ego a good thing? Recently I had an ego loss and realized the potential for my personality to be different. Since then, I've been trying out different personalities and undergoing changes. I am changing constantly, and because I'm in school in college, my life is almost falling apart. I don't know what I want to do simply because my goals are no longer consistent.
A big problem is I don't know if I want to live for ME following PASSIONS or live for OTHERS. I have actually come to the point where I don't believe in morals the same way I used to. I kind of feel like trying to change the world would be a waste (the problem is I really believe I have the capability to do that-- with great power comes great responsibility, etc), but this would totally come in conflict with my great loves and interests in life. However, this IS a passion... some part of my ego DOES want to change the world entirely. I want to wake people up or something, have people realize things that society simply ignores or assumes.
On the other hand though, not worrying about that would be such a relief. sometimes I just want the world to go into chaos or anarchy because I think it would be more interesting... and I want to be a soldier for justice... but even my definition of justice keeps changing. Should people have the right to own property at the exclusion of others which was originally obtained through force either decades or centuries ago? It not, how can I try to make the world a more wealthy, productive, or happy place?
I'm almost the epitome of a person really NOT KNOWING what he wants. My ego almost wants... everything. Consumed by greed and my ego. And I'm feeling a strong disconnect now. This is very confusing.
Pickled things for drinks is such a good gift idea! I went to a restaurant recently that had a make-you-own bloody mary bar, and the wide variety of pickled vegetables was definitely the best part.
Doing more for less means delegating more responsibilities to the kids so my time can be used more productively.

This phone would help keep me organized so that I can do more with less!

Put less debt on your credit card. Put NO debt on your credit card! LESS debt is MORE freedom in the new year!
We went shopping on Black Friday and I bought a lot with a little bit of money.

We only shop for clothes at thrift stores. We donate anything we don't need to a crisis center.

I do more with less by shopping sales.
If you tape large empty juice cans together and cover them with fabric, you will a a strong steady stool to step on.
