I notice that I have a TON of old clothes in storage bins. I could do more with less by donating the clothes to Goodwill, wearing the ones I have out and by doing this it will free my life from clutter. I WANT this phone.
This is very depressing. I'm very disappointed to have a WB author encouraging people to take advantage of other people's desperation. "Well the whole point of this article is that the only way you do profit from MTurk is to make use of the cheap labor you can get." Following this life view, the only thing better would be to find a country that still allows slavery and set up a business there. I feel sorry for anyone who can live with themselves with this philosophy.
Doing more with less sometimes means reusing grocery bags, or buying the recyclable types and using those. Saves the environment and saves the grocery stores money, which in turn saves you money.
Re "Check Out Late," I'm curious to know how you approach a call downstairs that would ensure that you don't get charged extra for the late check-out (or for parking if it's a daily rate that starts/ends at check-out time). Many hospitality workers are trained to say "yeah, we can do that for you" and as long as there's a surcharge that can be tacked on for the request, and you don't bring it up, it's added to the bill.
Do you wing it, or do you have ways of suggesting you'd like to check out without added cost?
I do more with less by shopping sales and finding really good deals. I am able to get some really good gifts for my family and friends by buying items when they go on sale!
I get more bang for my buck at the grocery store by checking ads, using coupons, stocking up on what is on sale, and buying generic on what is not. I also try not to buy anything that doesn't offer nutritious bang for its buck.
as a teacher in a financially strapped school district I an do more with less because I have to. Many of my students are now coming to school with no school supplies because their parents have lost their jobs. Thanks to coupons and rebates I'm able to supply them with these things free. The same goes for pens, crayons, glue and yes even scissors and notebooks. Thank goodness for big box office stores and pharmacies that offer such deals.
I do more with less money for Christmas gifts. All year I take surveys that pay in Amazon.com gift cards. I will be purchasing a $99 Cuisinart Food Processor for my best friend this year that comes with free shipping. I won't pay a dime for it, and I still have a bit of Amazon cash left over.
I am almost the last person I know that doesn't have a smart phon, Luddites excepted, of course. While keeping up with the Jones's doesn't interest me much, updating my FB from the bank does!
I could do more with less in my life by getting rid of at least half the stuff in my sewing/craft room. If I had more room, I'd be more inspired to do things there.

One example of me doing more with less is simply turning off and unplugging electronics and appliances. Sometimes people forget and it adds up to the costs. As time goes by, spending a few little seconds on turning appliances off can really make a difference and save more money, more money to spend on stuff I want! I only turn things on when I need to!
My grandmother taught me to "save steps". During chore time around the house, always have something with you to be returned or replaced as you move from area to area and room to room.
I'll second that. It's much quicker and easier to put your kids in SPF swimwear, and just put sunscreen on their face and other exposed areas. And if the kids are comfortable, what do you care what other busy-body moms think? ;-)
Actually, the VERY WORST thing from a financial viewpoint for any man is to get married. Over 50% of all marriages today end in divorce. Over 75% of divorces are initiated by women. And men can be sure that the socialist feminazi court system will do everything it can (legal or otherwise) to ensure that men will be left financially destitute. Women will be given the children so that outrageous "child and spousal support" awards can be made, in many instances amounting to more than the father's total income. Women will not have to justify or even account for any of the money they receive and spend - fathers will have to report every cent to the courts (assuming they even have one cent left over). Splitting of family assets means everything she has or ever had is hers and everything you have or ever had (even from before marriage) is hers. I have done volunteer work with many, many divorced husbands and fathers and I have not yet found a single one who wasn't totally destroyed financially by the Divorce Industry (and of course the emotional and psychological destruction is another story).
Finances are definitely one of the leading causes of divorce because women are told by the Divorce Industry lawyers and judges that the courts will give them anything they ask for. And, tragically, the total financial destruction of men by the Divorce Industry is responsible for driving thousands of fathers and husbands to suicide. I have known some of those men.
My Boyfriend was approved for the HAMP Program. We have paid for three months with the reduced monthly paymnts. Our problem is they sent us paperwork to sign to finalize the the loan modification and they have tacked on an additional 20,000.00 to the loan! They refuse to give any detail explanation as to the loan increase except for "It's our standard fees". We have requested a break down for the additional charges and the morgage company refuse to provide them or give any detailed information over the phone as to the increase. We are very leary to sign but afraid that we will loose our home if we do not. Can anyone give us some advise.

m and ms are probably my favorite more with less candy. i use them to decorate cakes, i use them in counting games with kids, and they just taste good
