Not to say that I don't believe you (in fact I do) but when making all these statements in an article saying "in a recent study by X" shouldn't you put a link to said study/article/numbers?
The study might contain lots of boring information that one has to crawl through, but at least everyone can check for themselves.
It also makes journalism something people can believe in instead of drivel by people wanting to make a point, or worse: trying to sell something.
Clearly you're not one of them but please consider my comment next writing such an otherwise great article.
I went to London in November for 10 days with a carry-on. Color coordinate everything, bring tops you can wash out in the sink (or rent a flat with a washer!) A travel size Febreeze will air out blazers and sweaters. One shoulder bag carries my purse, reading material and electronics (iPad mini, chargers,) plane snacks, make-up and toiletries. The wheeled carry-on has clothes. 2 pair of shoes is plenty! Heading to Ireland in March for two weeks and will pack the same way. It also helps cut down on the shopping:)
I do my own taxes. I've used TurboTax for longest time, but might try some new software this year. Based on what I am seeing on Amazon, H&R Block seems to be the top DIY tax software this year.
We recently switched to a professional when our taxes got too complicated. I am so glad we did. Our tax pro saved us lots of pain, aggravation, fines, stress and it was worth every penny.
I hear you on the patience.... Getting debt-free takes a while. We're hoping to pay off the house in 2020, turning a 30-year mortgage into an 11 year-mortgage. But oh that mortgage amount seems to just inch downward!
Frugality works slowly, but some aspects are actually fun, like learning new DIY skills, making instead of buying, and finding fun, cheap entertainment.
Frugality is also often healthier -- walking or biking instead of driving, gardening, and doing your own cooking are all both cheaper and better for you.
I think I'm more horrified by the overflowing piles of excess than by the barely furnished rooms. But at least those children who have barely furnished rooms have ROOMS and not just a blanket or mattress outdoors on the ground. :-(
I'm doing my taxes myself this year. I did them myself last year too. I don't have the money to pay someone else to do them. Actually, I'm going to an info session in an hour about how to properly do my taxes because as a grad student, I technically don't earn "wages" so it is confusing as to which part of my stipend is taxable.
Me, myself and I! We don't have anything so complicated that simple online software doesn't handle it.
My husband files the taxes and i fill out the Fasfa - fun!

My husband is doing our taxes this year.
I will be TurboTaxing it again this year. We have extra quirks this year because of an inheritance but I hope it will work out.

Our accountant files our taxes.
I'll be using my accountant again. It was a complicated tax year and I don't think I can handle it on my own.
These are not foods, they are nutrients. Just sayin'
Turbo Tax software for us.

I am filing my taxes this year and have been for many years.
Hi can someone please tell me how to make Panasonic DVD-S500 region free.
Thanks in advance.

My husband does our taxes every year online.
We're filing our own taxes.
My husband, for which I am grateful--I'd really rather not do it myself!

My taxes are fairly simple, so I file them myself.
I'm filing them myself for the first time this year! My dad has done it for me in the past.
ME!
