I do not understand why your cannot assign a beneficiary to a Capital One 360 account. Either you have to do a trust, etc., or forget it. I feel like there is a hidden agenda in regards to your money, and it is your money so you should be able to designate a beneficiary. When I call Capital One 360 they just give me the same old song and dance "saying that is just what they have elected to do" but no reason why. I do have concerns as I think there would be many other people who have the same questions.
I don't worry about being unfashionable but our town picks up and composts Christmas trees. If I let it go too long, I know I'm just adding to the burden of our public works department.
My family celebrates a second Christmas on January 5th, so I wait until the weekend following to take down all the decorations. It always seems to pass by so quickly!
I always take down my decor as quickly as possible after the holiday so it can be as soon as the day after if I have the time. Since Christmas seems to begin sometime in September at retailers, I am over it once it's officially over. On top of that, my birthday is in early January so I don't like "sharing" it with the holiday. ;)
I like to have the Christmas tree and all decorations down by Dec. 31 so I can celebrate the New Year with a fresh, clean slate. (I may not have them organized and put away yet but they are all collected in one spot in the house!) It's a big job so I understand that many people put it off into January but I could not stand that!
My boyfriend and I celebrate Christmas after Christmas due to both of us being with our respective families at the holidays. That being said, we usually celebrate on New Years day, just because I am off of work for a day. Also, he helps me take the decorations down, so really, it is almost up until the last day he is visiting me (we are long distance), so there isn't a set day, but it is usually sometime the first week of January.
We take down the indoor decorations about the first or second weekend of the new year. The outdoor stuff waits until we have some free time and the weather is cooperating, although we stop turning the lights on at night about when the indoor decorations get put away.
I do not have a set date when I take down my Christmas tree but it is usually on January 1st or the weekend after. This year I will be taking it down on 1st.
A lot of my "holiday decor" is really "winter decor" that way I can leave it up. I only put the holiday specific decorations (Santas, Lights, etc.) away after the holidays but I will leave up the wreath on the door and the snowmen decorations until at least March (winter is long in the Dakotas).
You can really save some dough by picking up premade crusts, sauce and cheese — you can make about six pizzas for under $20 if you shop smartly — that'll put smiles on everybody's faces.
I'm interested in these positions. What kind of experience do you need? I am interested in the location in eastern Ohio. Can you let me know the steps I need to take to apply for this position and who to contact.
Great post. To bad women spend so much time changing how they look. That is beyond me. I use make up so rarely its about 2 yrs old and still more then half full.
Ravindra, that is a wonderful idea!! Next time I go to the large town that is about 45 miles away from me, I am definitely going to check out some Indian grocery stores and/or Asian stores. I seriously never thought about that!!!
Timeshares need to be looked up as a purchase and not an investment. Regardless of how timeshares are presented, they don´t perform as well as a house or stock investment. If you look around the resale market for timeshares on websites like EBay, Redweek, or TUGBBS will find that you can buy a timeshare for far less money than what the first owner purchased it for.
I would never buy paper products at Costco. Besides the fact that I don't 800 rolls of toilet paper, I can get Scott on sale in my local supermarket for half of what Costco sells it for.
I wait until the day after my birthday (January 11th) so I can keep it festive to celebrate.

New Years Day
We take the decorations down on New Year's Day.

I would put up Christmas decorations two weeks before Christmas and take them down around Jan. 6th.

I take down the decorations a few days after New Year

I take my decorations down on New Year's Day. I like to feel festive through New Year's Eve and then start the new year fresh.
I've used the aspirin and the knives, and they worked for me. The knives are great, and I use them every day. Little research was done by this author.
I take my Holiday decorations down on Jan 1st! I love having my tree and decorations up until then!

Jan 7 - after epiphany (the 12th day of Christmas)
I do not have a set date when I take down my Christmas tree but it is usually on January 1st or the weekend after. This year I will be taking it down on 1st.

It's true that taking vitamins have no real effect unless you actually have a deficiency.
I think that it depends on the type of gift (if it's personal or monogrammed, then no) and the value of the gift.

No way, buy the case of freezer bags and freeze the excess.
