I totally disagree with this article. I've found name brand foil and plastic bags, cleaning supplies, food and drinks. The generic plastic bags work fine. I make great money and a friend told me I was wasting too much at the regular stores.i decided to give the 99 cent store a try. I love the coconut water and refuse to pay 3 dollars a pop for one. I recently found some multivitamins that Martha Stewart makes. Yes they are goid quality, and I've compared them to my 25 dollar ones, same ingredients. I've bought treats for my dog, Purina ones and a few made in Canada. Yes some things are questionable but for the most part everything I've bought has been fine. I buy 70 percent of my drinks from the dollar store now. You just have to really look and do your research. Urban detox drinks sale for double at Walmart and Target. Why pay more money for the same thing? Tons of name brand stuff in my in my 99 cent store. I have also bought bar soap, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, and Axe Body sprays for my boyfriend. 70 percent of purchased stuff by me from there has been name brand. I was buying a Chocolate wine from Fry's grocery store that was 14 bucks. The dollar store was selling the same brand for 2.99, and yes the grocery store still sales it for 14. You do the math on that! Open your eyes and stop thinking all the items are crap. Look at the dates on stuff also. I know people that turn their nose up to it, heck I use to be that way. For all the people who want to keep wasting money at the big name stores be my guest. Im in every week and I'm amazed by all the great stuff I find. I've never bought anything stale or old. Have I liked everything I purchased no, but that happens when I go to Walmart or Frys. It's the gamble we take when shopping any place. If I don't like it, I've only spent a buck instead of 3 or 4. Now produce I don't but because I just eat organic. Nice that they have options for people who don't have much money. I see a ton of people at the 99 cent store in an affluent area of Gilbert AZ driving away in their BMW's....kuddos to all that love 99 cent store.
It's the Durango - Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad, not Silverado. Runs from Durango to the old mining town of Silverton along the Animas river in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.
THIS is NOT a scam! This is TRUE and spot on. BY THE WAY, for all still reading this or those in the future to read this, it is in combination of how the tires are stored along with IF there was enough glue used in the making of the tire, as well as the rest mentioned above. When you purchase a tire as brand new, the vehicle was parked for the dominant of two (2) months it was on the vehicle, and nothing was hit, but it blew, then YES, it IS a bad tire...one that was sold as NEW being 6 yrs old that blew! How was it stored? In a metal/aluminum building....right smack dab in the middle of humid, southern weather conditions of Texas. There may not be a federal law of this yet, but I assure you, when something like this happens to you and changes your life and the way you view blown out tires on the growing rampant highways of this land, you don't view this all the same....as you learn the new limitations of your body after your spinal fusion surgery AFTER you were injured in the blowout.
I no longer have an achilles heel when it comes to pricing although I used to. I'm a sucker for clothes and was always buying stuff because it was cheap or highly discounted and I realized I had a closet for of clothes I was "meh" about now I just buy fewer pieces of what I REALLY like.
This article really brings out the key points everyone should focus on. Unfortunately too many young people ignore their retirement savings. It is important to be frugal, increase your income and start building your net worth and wealth.
I've seen quite a a few where the seller offers and item such as a computer or rv at a price that is just good enough that you can't pass it up but still high enough that it could possibly be real. Typically they will only provide a phone number to text. Texting this number causes as emails to begin coming in. Every time I've suspect this with an ad in my local craigslist, I google a key phrase from the ad. And often end up seeing very similar ads, often with the same pic in other cities.
There’s this awesome app called GrabPoints. In a nutshell they pay you for trying out new apps and answering a couple of surveys. I love using it because they are always active on social media giving out points and the rewards are always fair. Never mind cooking or adding spices and herbs to squash greens... I just bundle them up and eat 'em like a gorilla... another thing you can do is make two bundles and put some stuff in between the greens like a sandwich... put tomato slice in between or cucumber slices... yummy and healthy.
I was ecstatic when I found out leafy greens from pumpkins and other cucurbits, because damn... we all know how healthy leafy greens are... didn't realize that all the leafs the pumpkin and squash plants grow can be consumed by me for an abundance of nutrients.
I agree with all your points apart from the self soothing paragraphs. Science has shown that cry-it-out methods do damage the brain. There isn't much point in doing that to a child, in my opinion. Parenting babies is tough, especially in many Western cultures where extended family support is minimal. But tiny babies and toddlers literally NEED their parents and denying them that isn't beneficial. There are ways to make sleep times work for all parties, with some creativity and gentle boundaries. As a child gets older, they need a parent to help them settle for sleep less and less. We don't need to push it on them; it will happen as they mature. No teenager wants to sleep in the same bed (or is it house??!) as their parents. We co-slept with my five year old until she was about 2.5-ish, and then one day she was ready to sleep in a big girl bed and that was that. When my older children have bad dreams, I still let them into our bed for comfort.
In fact, the tone of your paragraph made out that most parents are being "ruled" by their children with regards to sleep. I would argue the point that most parents in America at least practice cry-it-out and put their babies in a separate room from birth. I think that needs to change.
I would like to travel around Europe when I retire
To be able to travel and do the things I love
Lots of travel!
I'd love to spend my retirement reading all the books I've wanted to read and being cozy at home. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to retire.
My dream retirement would be to travel the world!
I'd love to spend my retirement traveling.
I hope to travel, remain active, and read all the books I never seem to have time for now!
I want to relax. No working unless I find something very interesting.
Good one, Ginny. He was a very wise man.
I splurge on clothes.
Yarn. I can't use the super-cheap stuff and I'm making gifts and items for my family all the time.

Loved this! Definitely a trip down memory lane! !
I splurge on vacations and cameras. Memories last a lifetime, everything else doesn't :)
