Although I just started, I am beyond excited to basically get paid for my opinion. With our economy its important to have other money-paying options beyond just working.
I was all ready to hire one when I got into the nitty gritty with him on the phone. I already did and had set up what he said I should be doing with our family's money. His fee, it turns out, is more than he would have made for me last year based on his own numbers. I did forgo hiring him and ended up making 18% without a fee. I think people can educate themselves to the point that they will have a clear understanding of how to invest.
We have used financial planners in the past - one is excellent and we are still with him - the other was putting everyone into annuities and this did not work out.
I have a 2001 Honda CR-V. Other than a broken radiator (right where the hose connects) and basic maintenance, it has never let me down in any kind of weather. I plan to keep it for as long as I can. I noticed that wasn't on the list.
I love steno pads. The best organizational tools I have. I have bought all kinds of calendars, notebooks, schedulers, printed to do lists, and nothing works like a steno pad.
I used my parent's financial planner for awhile but found that it wasn't really useful for the point I am at in life. However, when I get closer to retirement or have a more complicated financial situation, I may reach out to one.
I have hired a financial planner. I considered the planning part of my investment diversification. Not all of my money is invested with the financial planner. I placed 1/2 with him. The return has been the greater with the financial planner because it is something he does every day. I am willing to pay for someone to make me $.
That's a great tip, Guest. On my last trip to Spain, I would have my phone on airplane mode and snap away using Instagram. The app saves all pics that failed to post. Once I got to the hotel I could make the pics live little by little.
I have a 2000 Toyota Echo with about 330K miles on it currently. I received it around 25K miles in 2002 and have taken care of it since I got it. Oil changes are key. Thankfully I haven't had to do any repair work that was over a couple hundred dollars. I wish that they still made these cars because I'd definitely buy again but I think the last model made was around 2004. For now, I'll be driving it until it stops working or there's a big fix. Knock on wood.
Online tutoring is an interesting new phenomenon that is a new take on the traditional approach. You can get your teacher at home. What are your thoughts?
TMobile has free international data with all their post-pay plans (granted, it's only 2G). I recently traveled to Europe and was able to use Google Maps, Translate and Yelp without having to pay one cent. I waited until I got back to my hotel or places with free Wifi to upload pictures to Instagram.
I once drank soda, then I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. I was told that it was causing problem's for my bones and causing my pain to be a lot worse than it had to be. I stopped drinking it about 15 years ago and was able to get off most of my medications that I needed in the beginning. Also, Women who are going through menopause, it causes your hot flashes to be worse.
But even compost toilets have to be emptied, 1 and 2 separately. I think just draining it is less hassle.
No, I have not hired one before.
That is exactly what I thought.
I took a seminar from a financial planner once, but otherwise my finances haven't been complicated enough to need one.
We do have an investment advisor, although we do the big-picture financial planning ourselves.
Starting to building our retirement portfolios early in our marriage was one of the things we did right. :)
We're hoping consistency over a long period of time will win out, even with small amounts.

Nope, not in my budget!

I considered this post with a very valuable information. I personally like the option to earn money with recurring commission.

Verizon edge was the biggest mistake we made...
I don't do a lot of youtube searches, but I will check some of these out.

No, I've never had a financial planner.
