I don't remember hearing anything about retirement, let alone how to save for retirement. Our finance class was basically how to write a check and how to balance a check book. And in high school, number 6 would be laughed at. Everyone wanted to newest car.
Right now, I unwind after work by watering my flowers and picking fresh produce from my little garden patch. It brings me such joy and pride when I pluck those juicy tomatoes!
I use Yaware to increase my performance. It runs in the background on the computer and tracks the amount of time I have spent on apps and websites. It also evaluates my productivity.
When I visit Facebook or something like that it shows as unproductive time in the percentage of the daily productivity. I can check my statistics online and receive daily or weekly reports. It is easy to analyze what takes my time. http://yaware.com/
I am a connector (Malcolm Gladwell style), and deep connections with friends and loved ones both relaxes and energizes me. I enjoy the intellectual stimulation and spiritual nourishment of spending time connecting with people.
I go to the gym. It helps me forget about anything that stressed me out for awhile and the endorphins after the workout help make things not seem so bad afterwards.
Out of all the necessities at home, our appliances are some of the most expensive items to purchase. Saving money when you buy home appliances is always a goal for all home owners like me who want to get the best deal, but also want quality in our appliance investments.
seriously? Who even cares abt someone sending a card? I get cards with my name all the time and think nothing of it at all. I am like, oh a card, I dont need it. Its not a real credit card, just debit. Threw them out dont even shred it because theres NO risk with debit. People in comments acting outraged need to grow up get a life and get a clue because companies sell information every single day! It doesnt effect credit scores , or you in any way.
Because I don't use credit card like credit card (I pay it off as soon as I can get in front of my computer with accounting software), I tends to buy as much as I can through credit card for convenience. Not paying interest and penalty on credit card is rule #1 in my financial religion.

I love to take a short nap to unwind. Makes me feel refreshed and ready to enjoy the rest of the night!

Where did you buy the $10 pizza stone?
turn on the tv...then go through my emails, then facebook. By then I'm ready to start dinner.
I, all too sadly some days, enjoy a beer or two after work.
Wait...so what can I eat? There are several restaurants in my area that have all of these things on their menu.
A better question is what isn't overpriced.
I love this place. Used to go shopping in the Aldi Stores in Germany and I am so thrilled they just opened a store in my town.

I unwind after work with a coffee and my iPad. Iced coffee in warm weather, hot coffee for cold. Coffee relaxes me.

I like to veg out on the couch with a favorite TV show or a good book.
I usually sit down on the couch with my dogs and cats, poke around on the internet, and watch some tv.
I love jumping rope!

I like decaf coffee and Netflix.
