The Internet and social media have taken real estate out of the stone ages. Buyers and sellers are leveraging this change and dealing direct with no middleman. Social media has become the new MLS. It not an attack against real estate agents, its just reality. According to the National Association of Realtors own numbers. The number of real estate agents has dropped over 26% in less than 5 years. And even as sales are on the rise, this number continues to drop.
There is a short book called "Simple and Sold" that walks you through the process. You can get it on Amazon. Very easy to follow.
Thank you for sharing these ways to feel better and evoke happiness within ourselves. This time of the year can be the most stressful so we forget to give ourselves appropriate time for rest, working out and participation in other activities we love. We will be tweeting your happiness habits to our followers from our Twitter account, @OncorPML! Thanks for sharing.
Out of Print is one of my fave stores, they have great book-ish material.
If you're looking for something for someone really special and don't mind the expense, check out Spineless Classics. They print books on a single page, as posters, in different shapes and scenes. I have "The Hound of the Baskervilles" in a profile of Holmes and it is magnificent, definitely the centerpiece on my wall. Would love "The Hobbit" and the "Mathilda" posters as well. Pretty great gift if you know that special someone's favorite book!
Wow what a GREAT list!!!! I love the water bottles with a filter idea, homemade gift certificates and Cookies for Cancer....among so many others listed here! Each and everyone makes a thoughtful gift. Thank you!!!
I didn't know Hemingway had such a hard time of it. It must've been hard at times. If he had thrown his arms up in frustration and given up, we would never have been able to read some of the greatest works of fiction in modern history.
Hmm, I don't know about some of these theories but I will go with the beer as a hair conditioner. Even if they are true, you have to drink in moderation because beer has CALORIES and if you drink too much you will get the negative part of the above benefits.
To me financial success means enjoying the biological pleasures of life - first of all, being able to raise quality kids, then enjoying organic natural food, clean air, a good bed in a clean house and a library subscription. It's about having the financial resources AND the time to spend time with the loved ones.
Hi Linda, what a lovely, helpful, timely post! I like the inspiring gifts ideas and hope to put them to a good use very soon for the holidays.
Thank you, Inga
Actually in Wyoming all of the Highway Patrolmen carry coke to take blood stains off of the road. The coroners use it too. But hey that's just how we do it here in Wyoming, it may be different everywhere else.
Me too... I have nightmares on a regular basis about my job, especially on Sunday nights. I have done many of the things on the list, not consciously, but probably subconsciously because I just don't want to be there. The joy-killers at work are related to multi-tasking high risk situations involving lots of money. ie: taking customer service calls while simultaneously doing financial transactions at a drive-thru teller window, etc. etc. I complain about the multi-tasking and am reminded time and again that it is part of the job. I found this article because we are going through a merger and I am secretly hoping to be laid off. I am trying to find out if layoffs occur before or after the actual deal is done. ?

I define financial success as having no credit card debt and having 3 months of money for bills in the bank.
Learn to cook, the closer to "from scratch" the healthier and cheaper.

Is there a benefit to taste or quality to distill more than once, is it neccessary or no

Financial success is living without debt and having enough money to be comfortable now and in retirement.

Such a great article and so true! It's hard to raise your value for repeat clients if you started low.

The picture you have for the Nextdesk Terra is incorrect. Pretty sloppy.
