Amen to you. "Informed consumers" get a warm fuzzy feeling going to their credit union or bank when in fact they usually get their pants pulled down there. I saw a "loan origination fee of 199.00 and an admin fee of 79.00 PLUS you had to join the credit union.....19.00 thank you . All for a 6800.00 loan to save a point.
Well, where do I begin? First of all the dealership should have NEVER agreed to tie up a car with out the price being settled. Why would I want to take a car off the market for three days with no commitment on your part? What if someone came in and wanted to buy it and I couldn't sell it because you plunked down a few refundable bucks? See my point? Didn't think so. If you didn't like the price manager gave you then go somewhere else and buy a car. Don't get upset because he knew what he wanted to get for his merchandise. It sounds like you should buy from private owners henceforth.
You are correct. Serious buyers very rarely get the run around at a dealership. That goes for new or used car buyers. My wife and I own a small used car lot and take exception at "Jason Lancaster's" take on things. Beside stating the obvious, he seems to take shots at what he perceives to be low hanging fruit. "People don't like used car lots so I'll tell them what they want to hear"....etc. Actually, the best way to buy a used car is to research the vehicle you want to buy as far as price, drive to the lot, let the salesperson know you are not there to waste his or her time, and tell them the price you will pay pending a mechanics inspection. As far as interest rate, one point on ten thousand dollars for forty eight months is only a few bucks a month But.....because people are constantly harping on interest rate, it makes Jay Bird look like he knows what he's talking about. Look, I don't think you should spend a penny more than you should but be honest....if a few bucks a month stops you from buying a car you like then go get your own money or buy a cheaper car.
I have a blog (www.makingsenseofcents.com) and I'm on track to earn $70,000 from it just for the month of March. I LOVE blogging and it has opened so many doors for me and my husband. We travel full-time and love life!
Switching to cash makes the lifestyle easy to be followed. At the same time it put some restriction when cash flow is concerned, which is difficult to be followed when credit cards are concerned.
Truly above suggested tips can work wonder when finances are concerned. What knowledge of credit does. As making correct use of economy helps in paving a successful path.
Dear Linda,
You possess two important skills; why don't you combine it for enriching others' knowledge while benefiting out of it?
You could start writing guides for school/college syllabus books or develop other usefull content. This is as satisfying a job as a good paying one too.
Quick question for you Nick... Do you have any future plans (looking for idea here) to monetize your travel blog that doesn't include freelance work/isn't directly dependent on your time? Great article!
I have a severe stomachache, it really happens everyday especially during nighttime. I really feel sick and so tired every time stomachache sucks to me. I had my check-ups and tried many doctors with their medications already but it seems that no one can tell me the sickness that I have right now. What must I do now since it get worst.
my husband has a credit card but no other accounts and we have change with 100 coins ,susan b.anthony coins, also 1.00 gold coins, silver dollars. the coins that machines don't take. trying to find out if we can get a cashiers check.
Absolutely agree. As someone that works at a hotel, we had someone that was upset with one of our policies. Our policy is clearly stated on the booking page, on the confirmation agreement and was also confirmed verbally on the phone. I don't deserved to be yelled at because people want special treatment.
Correct not all couponers are hoarders, that is sitting in judgement of us. some may be but a lot of us do donate to others, I donate to Ronald McDonald house, Nashville rescue mission, battered womens shelter. and were I live I give to anyone who needs anything, so please don't roll us all together lol.
That's solid advice. Regardless of circumstances, being debt free is very liberating.
The days of the average person making substantial money off the market are long gone, even small mistakes can take decades to recover.
I tried this, and it did nothing to my lenses. I'm not sure if I have a different type of coating, but I'm definitely kind of bummed. Any suggestions?

I volunteer once or twice a month with a local food pantry.
How sure is this?
I wish I could do volunteer more often for sure.
