We save money by making our own cards for each other. We even make our own flowers out of paper. I make candy at home put in a cute Valentine's bag. Then we do dinner at home and I always use coupons when I shop. By making everything ourselves it just makes the day more heartfelt! Happy Valentine's everyone!!
My boyfriend and I are saving money by cooking our own gluten-free food for Valentine's Day since I have celiac disease instead of going out to an expensive restaurant. He's surprising me with the choice of foods, and says he has other plans to make it more romantic.
skip the gifts and have a nice homemade dinner by candlelight and then cozy up and watch a movie on your sofa. Much cheaper and more romantic than going out!
Yes... I definitely forget to clean under the beds and sofas at home. The door knobs are also a good reminder. :) Sometimes you need to find a post on the internet that reminds you of cleaning these places! Here is a cool infographic that I found about this same matter : http://visual.ly/things-you-are-probably-forgetting-clean
These are terrific ideas! There are so many great and creative ways to reuse materials at home. I really love the shoe boxes ideas! I really would be happy to use them to store stuff neatly in my closets in them. Thanks for the post! Here is an infographic about reusing household materials: http://visual.ly/8-items-reuse. Thank you for the cool ideas!
Yes, Yes, and Yes! Especially #7. I am a landlord, but I use a property manager because I know I'm way too trusting and I need someone who realizes this is a business. It's a small price to pay (in my opinion) for someone to be the bad guy/lady when he/she needs to be. I lose out on a good bit of profit, but the rent and fee still covers the mortgage. I have had a total of three tenants and two burned me. The first two. I switched property managers after those and it's like night and day. So my only advice is that you can still be a landlord, but make sure you have a strong property manager.
These are good excuses to address, however there is one more that I still can't really come up with a solution to. Making only unearned income, therefore being unable to contribute to a retirement account?
Someone friended me on FB then almost immediately asked me to do them a favor and advertise a 2003 Tahoe for sale for them on Craigslist. I became suspicious when they informed me they wanted $1,500 for the vehicle -- a ridiculously low price, given the condition of the vehicle shown in the pictures they sent me to post in the ad. Does anyone have some idea of what kind of scam this person (or people) are trying to run on me?
My "favorites" would have to be the 2 comments made in EVERY episode of House Hunters/Beach Front Bargain Hunt/Lake House Living:
1. "Love all the natural light coming in from the windows." (Where would it come from?)
2. "This is a great space for entertaining!" (How much time do these couples/families actually spend "entertaining"?)
And another fav if there happens to be a deck or balcony off the master bedroom:
3. "I can see myself sitting out here enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise!" (Because so many people have THAT kind of time on a weekday morning!)
If by "food" you mean food from the food court (e.g. wraps, salads, pizzas), then yes you can buy food at Costco as long as the food court is located outside of the Costco warehouse. You need neither a Costco membership card, nor a Costco cash card, just cash or a debit card. However, some readers have reported that at Costcos with an inside food court, it's really up to the gatekeeper to let you in.
If by "food" you mean any food item inside the Costco, then your only option without a membership is to buy a Costco cash card, which you can show to the gatekeeper. Only members can buy a Costco cash card, so you'll need to rely on a friend or relative with a Costco membership to get you one.
Most of these stores are not available where I live (Maine). We do have a Trader Joes and a Whole Foods in Portland, but not the town where I live. We have grocery stores like Shaws and Hannaford. Hannaford is a favorite because they make an effort to have local produce available and they are decently priced. Whole Food or "whole paycheck" as we call it locally, is too expensive for me to shop weekly so I make that a special splurge a few times a year. Trader Joes is a must if I am in Portland already and want something different for dinner. I love their frozen section as they have a more unique selection than my local grocery store.
ACT mouthwash was recommended by my son's dental hygienist as he had some plaque build up. He is twelve and we are always getting after him about brushing and flossing better than he does. I myself have always flossed and brushed my teeth twice daily, but was lax on mouthwash until I tried ACT. It really does make my mouth feel cleaner. My teeth and gums feel healthier after using it too. And because its alcohol-free, it doesn't sting when you gargle with it!
My hair has always been my pride and joy. I figured since it is pretty damn healthy, it could deal with some extensions. I was wrong, and now I want to burst into tears every time I look at my natural hair. I just don't know what to do. my hair has also NEVER been shorter than this and it breaks and falls out. What should i do to regrow hair?
You're being to harsh, its better not to judge or name call another human being. Remember no one is perfect. It's better to further your own being, look in the mirror and ask yourself "who am i , what is my purpose here in this life and what how can i learn and better myself in this life?" Just take care of yourself first instead of trying to judge or save everyone that is not like you. Peace, respects and wisdom.
They sent me one today and I read the fine print, directly under the card, that states to opt-out and get off the mailing list call 1-866-753-6409. (select option one)
What worries me is who sold them my information for this bull&%$# and who else is going to get my information? I'm pretty sure all of the positive comments on here regarding this company are fake (pretty obvious) and there really should be a law where they will have to let you know how they got your information.

I am using coupons and my Rewards card to get free food on Valentine's Day!!
I save money by using coupons when eating out on Valentine's Day
We buy discount candy the day after, so we save that way. We also find it more fun and romantic to make dinner ourselves, so we just stay in.
I want you to share some best suggested Deodorants for girls too.

Love, love, love Trader Joes
We can learn from these successful millionaires. There’s a lot to take away from their good habits.
I don't meal plan.

I totally disagree with every point in this article.
When we lease a car with a residual value of more than 55%, a new car is always cheaper than a used car of the long run.
Google this about it:
How to lease a brand new car with no money down in the USA

There are definitely Aldi stores in the UK and other European countries. Also, it's a German company.
I don´t have my own experience, but I totally agree with number 5 and 7.
