Probably not a subscription scam. I don't think you can be signed up for services just by typing in anything. You'd probably need to type in some kind of code.
Yes I use the CC for the smallest purchases. But don't bother when going out to dinners with friends. It isn't worth the aggravation of being short-changed or having to make a trip to the bank to deposit the cash. This is one of the rare few times that I pay cash and give up the cash back or points opportunity.
Wow how ignorant of you to NOT do anything & just wait for the fix to happen. Companies will always find those errors & remedy it themselves. Big lesson learned for you NOT to act hastily! It's not hurting you to hold the extra funds, but I would never spend the amount of the overage. Some unscrupulous folks could and that would only cost them in the end. Same with you in this case - nice guys always finish last LOL
I hear you. We've had someone do the same thing. Stay with us when she's in town for her hobby event. Wants me to cook her meals, complains if I don't serve her breakfast, drinks our soda, never offers us so much as a bottle of wine or offers to buy a pizza. We finally told her that it's just too much for us to have people stay with us. She got mad and hasn't spoken to us since. I guess we were only "friends" when she could use us.
Trump is a bombastic buffoon who only knows how to brag and insult people. What a disgrace if he becomes president. He has money but no class or breeding whatsoever.
I have searched and searched cant find anything on how to actually throw out expired box mixes, ( cake, muffin, pancake any thing that is too old to eat). Do I dump it out first, can it go into the compost? Help!
I'm not interested. I think they are too expensive and I don't need technology to do all those things for me, I like to figure life out on my own a little bit!
Read the ingredients on the box dyes, metallic salts, peroxide, ammonia, PPD, etc. They are not only destroying your hair, but those toxic chemicals are absorbed through your skin. The MSDS for PPD recommends avoiding contact with the skin. How close can I get the color to my roots without taking my scalp? I have used henna to color my hair and the results are fantastic. It can be a little messy, so prepare accordingly. It helps to have an extra set of hands to help. My guy who trims my hair has also become my colorist and he applies the henna and ensures I have good coverage. It leaves my hair soft, shiny and covers my gray quite well. About $15 per application, so it is affordable.
I'm sure the new Apple gadgets are nice, but they're way out of my price point, and I already have a phone and watch. No need to upgrade at that price.
You've mentioned that in Whole life policies at death, the beneficiary gets the face value of the insurance AND the cash value (investment component) that's built up. However, from what I've read, that's not the case. At death, the beneficiary gets the face value of the insurance but the cash value goes to the insurance company.
That makes no sense, how could you have no idea what to do with a $32 visa card? Don't you buy groceries? Just use the card next time you go to a store, problem solved!
I have two credit cards with the 'chip' that I use frequently. I have never had to use a PIN with either one. Other than not leaving my sight, I'm not sure they are that much more secure than the older ones without the chip. I definitely wish merchants would ask for ID along with the card every time, but that is a rarity also.
I was disappointed to read all the posts that give every reason in the book that this doesn't work. I am a financial planner, and I started saving when money first touched my hands. I retired at 38. Yes, 38. It does work. You have to do it and you have to persevere. Yes, investments can go down... you have to diversify and don't stop putting away. Whenever the Dow is down 400 points, I am buying. When you get a raise, save it before it ever touches your hands. Save save save.
My 16 year old made about 1300 this summer. I am incentivizing him to save it in a Roth by offering to put half in. He puts in 650 and I'll put in 650. That's pretty easy... free money to him.
Yes, 10.7% is high. The 100 year equity rate of return averages 9-10%. From 16 years old to 65 you're looking at 50 years, so yes, you will hit the long term averages. Don't be discouraged. Buy more when the market is down. Buy wisely. Diversify. Anyone can do it. And yes, putting 2K a year away starting at 16 through 21... and then putting nothing else away, you will have a million by retirement at that 9-10%.
I've brought and sold through several buy/sell local facebook pages, have had a great experience either way. The one negative I have found is there are many sellers that I feel are desperate for the money so sell some items way to cheap driving the prices down for everyone else. One a whole though its way quicker and easier than eBay.
I am so glad that I was able to find this! I always end up paying a ton for my car repairs, and I really want to start knowing how to fix my own car problems so I don't keep paying a ton. So thanks a bunch Paul for sharing these 8 repairs I can start doing to save money. I'll definitely remember this the next time something happens to my car.
None of those 'gun safes' can restrict a thief and a crowbar. Your only serious protection is a True Safe like a Graffunder (C-rated and UP, which only a few of us own) or to hide it well.

Right - same here. If I see a fee, I don't even do the math. I HATE fees and will just use another form of payment.

i've got my new iphone 6s preordered!

Not at all interested. I have a phone that works, takes pictures, and accesses the internet. Anything else is superfluous and a waste of money.
Trumps failures are nothing compared to Benghazi!

Can you confirm?

I like iphones and computers, but I'm not interested in the watch.
No, they are too expensive.
Quite a comprehensive list!
Does anyone know if a prepaid travel card is available to U.S. residents?

Seriously, every gun safe is a piece of crap.
