Good list of ideas to get out and enjoy the nice weather. It starts to get so cool in the North around mid-september that you have to take advantage of every last day of sunshine until you're stuck indoors until about April. My favorites on your list are outdoor concerts and grilling out.
The internet has undoubtedly made this problem even bigger than it has ever been. As if being bombarded with information all day everyday from all sides isn't enough, we now have to worry about is what we're reading is actually accurate. Anyone can publish anything on the internet and call it facts. Its up to us to weed through the crap and think critically about every situation to form our own opinions and come to our own conclusions. You have to be careful.
I've attended many conferences. Some good, some bad. I think it all depends on the main speaker. My favorite part of the meetings is meeting my counterparts from other areas of the State. Some I have spoken to on the phone, but never met before. And there's usually food. :)
I attented the Colorado SBDC Women's Small Business Conference in Keystone Colorado a couple of weeks ago. It was the first business conference I had attended, but I figured I would give it a shot. I'm so glad that I did! I learned a lot on topics that are relevant to my small-business which opened one year ago. I would definitely go to another business conference, and will probably attend this conference next year.
I liked you on Facebook.
I have attended business conferences. The best part was meeting people (customers) that I had just spoken to previously. The worst part is when I can't find someone to talk to.
I've attended several, and my favorite aspects are the networking socials and opportunities. It's really nice to have a face to a name, especially when you work on virtual teams.
It has been a LONG time since I went to a business conference. I have been a stay-at-home mom for over 12 years now, so that is my life. That and trying to save money for my family by living frugally! :)
Oh yes. Very yes. As a college student, attending conferences and conventions was probably the most powerful tool to gain post-grad employment. The opportunity to network is a tremendous resource for anyone able to take advantage of it. There's always something to learn and always someone new to meet. Make the most of the opportunities there, because they're unique - not something you'll get by staying at home.
Yes, freezing will concentrate the alcohol %. The problem is also the benefit of jacking. It concentrates the flavour. While this is great with a sweet, fruity fermentation, it will not do well to concentrate the flavour of sugar and yeast. It will get you drunk faster, but not taste great.
I just use a light dusting of bicarbonate of soda under my arms and that is it. I make sure I wipe it away afterwards, so that it doesn't rub. I find it gets rid of any body odours quickly and effectively and lasts all day. I sometimes repeat the process a couple of times before it works, but it always works well!
If the student first has a job and is at least partially paying for college then I think having a credit card would be beneficial. They can track and trend purchases assuming the are great at budgeting, this would provide them with the necessary skills later to both save and spend. If the student is getting by on mommy and daddy then I would say no, simply because they have no understanding of how many hours worked a tube of toothpaste or a roll of toilet paper costs after taxes and other withholdings.
i like you on facebook!
No, haven't attended any business conferences but have attended workshops and I agree they are great for networking and informative

I "like" you on Facebook!
I have - my favorite part was the networking with people from everywhere!
Do your own taxes - or at least understand personal income tax.

Liked and commented on Facebook as well! :)
No, I've attended food shows before though, and they're a bundle of fun!

It will work to soothe chapped and windburned lips if you have nothing else.
During what time period could you get 15-20 interviews per week!? My God, build me a Time Machine! I can't even get one.
